  • I would like to ask if you think this scope would work on a .22 rifle?

  • @warlord12101

Yes, this and most other Leapers scopes will work well on a .22 rifle.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • I know this is kind of off brand (NCStar) but I was wondering if you guys could help me (or anyone). I'm a little torn between sights. I've got a Sig Sauer 556 Airsoft Rifle and I'm looking for a sight for it. I'm looking at a NcSTAR Mark III Tactical Scope & NcSTAR Tactical 4 Reticle Sight but don't know what to get. I like the enclosed scope, mil-dots, range finder etc. but I also like the red dots field of view and I like this scope but it's too long. Can anyone help me pick a good one?

  • Thanks for the reply, decided to get a 4-16X Leapers 5th gen scope as soon as stock arrives. Could you plz paste the link to some mounts which fit the 350mag with a TO-6 trigger, because all mounts I saw on pyramidair were only for the TO-5 ones.

    Thanks once again.

  • @Jahazdaabba1

Do a search for PY-A-2406 on our web site. That's just one of many options.

    Thank you

  • Hi. Do you suggest a Leapers 5th gen 4-16X scope for my RWS 350 Feuerkraft or a Bushnell Banner 6-18X50 scope? Which mounts should I get along with it? Thanks.

  • @Jahazdaabba1

Please go with the Leapers. There are very few Bushnell scopes that are rated for airgun use. We would recommend one piece 4 screws mounts by UTG/Leapers.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Alright, have you tested/shot the rifle? Do you know of it's accuracy capabilities? Any recommended pellets or anything particular?

  • @butlerjohn84

You will need to test a few different pellets in any air rifle to find the ones it likes best. Follow the ammo link on our web pages to see the best possible options for each air rifle.

    Thank you,

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • I was more interested in a 2 pound or less trigger pull, possibly a light sear spring? Or take apart assembly and deburr and lube? I don't have a spring compression device so it has to be only trigger assembly

  • Okay thank you, and would you by chance know of any trigger mods or replacements I could possibly do? It has the t05 and I checked and don't think a GRT3 would fit, this is my first True springer so I have lots of questions everything is appreciated

  • @butlerjohn84

I don't believe there are aftermarket options for the T05 replacement at the moment. Are you finding some creep in the Ruger trigger? It should wear in after a few hundred shots.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Do you suppose a 4x16 would be even better? There's not to much of a price difference

  • @butlerjohn84

This really depends on the distance you are planning on shooting. For this air rifle (just like for most air rifles) 3-9x40 is plenty of power in the scope.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air team

  • Just got a ruger air magnum, what scope and rings would you recommend?

  • @butlerjohn84

This particular scope will work well with your Ruger Air Magnum. Get Leapers/UTG medium hight 1" rings and you should be all set.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • What do you think about the leapers

    6-24x50?

  • @bassetthound2008

Leapers 6-24x50 is a great scope. If you need this kind of magnification go for it!

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • hay im consedering buying this scope and i ha ve a gamo big cat 1200 .22 cal will this be a good scope or not and do u need bateries to use the scope or is that for the color reticle and im using the scoper to hunt rabbits squirls cimpmunks and birds (mostly rabits ) please respond fast thank you

  • @hosam9551

Yes, you can install this scope on the Gamo Big Cat 1200, just need to also order rings (do a search for PY-A-793 on our web site). The scope comes with a battery and it's only needed to illuminate the reticles you can use the scope even if the battery is dead.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair alright thank you

  • Well thnks allot!.. Probably i wil order it soon!:)..... Another question...Im used to hunt during day time rabitts and squirels. But i will like to try hunt at night! What flashlight or acessorie you recommend that fits this scope. Thnks again:)

  • @originalmeful

You can try BSA ND3 (look for PY-A-2817 on our web site).

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Does this scope fits in the Daisy Powerlin 1000? Thanks and keep your great work!

  • @originalmeful

Yes, this scope would fit Daisy Powerline 1000, you just need to get 3/8 dovetail 1" diameter rings.

    Thank you

  • @britishrashad

What specifically is the issue that you are experiencing with your mounts and the rifle?

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Will this hold up to 30-06 recoil?

  • @testify221

Yes, Leapers TS scopes will be able to withstand firearms recoil.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • This uses a battery? whats the battery for?

  • @iModpsp

Batteries are used in scopes usually for reticle illumination.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Which should i get for my diana 34 panther .177 cal. Leapers 6-24x50 Varmint Scope w/ Illuminated Reticle And Adjustable Objective, eapers 5th Gen 3-9x40 AO Mil-Dot Scope with R/G, 1" Tube , Leapers 1-4x28 Scope 30mm Longe Eye Relief SCB, Mil Dot IR, or Leapers 5th Gen 4-16x50AO Rifle Scope, Illuminated Red/Green Mil-Dot Reticle, Zero Lock/Reset

  • @iModpsp

This 3-9x40 should be perfect for your RWS 34.

    Thank you

  • hey i am going to get this scope and am curious if i need high or medium mounts?

  • @trekce9

It depends on your rifle. The higher the rings the more vertical correction you will need to apply on the scope.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair i have a beeman rs2 sportsman series please tell me what size rings you think i will need

  • @trekce9

You should be OK with medium rings.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • hey, im lookin at buying one of these scope or one similar, i bought a center point 4-16x40 last year, and has been performing great for the price, we now have it on a rem modle 700 cdl 30-06, works great! i am wondering if this scope will work good on a 22-250, that i think im getting for christmas, thanks ;)

  • @56retoocs

It will do just fine on that gun.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Will the scope stop work on my receiver I have a gamo bonecollecter .177

  • @TheIcoolable

This scope comes without mounts. You need mounts with a scope stop built in or a scope stop sold separately.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • hey this scope does not come with a mount right? if not then can the stock mount on the gamo big cat fit this scope? If it doesnt then can u suggest a good mount and tell me where i can buy mounts that will fit the big cat and this scope. Please reply thanks.

  • @skaterg807

It's correct. This particular scope comes without a mount. The scope has a 1" diameter which is pretty popular but to be 100% sure please confirm that your current Gamo scope is also 1". If it is the rings should do, if it is not, then any 1" rings you see on our site that are 3/8" dovetail should work well on the Gamo Big Cat.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair hey thanks a lot for the fast reply! ur alot of help thank you.

  • @skaterg807 sry one more thing, if i buy the Gamo 1-Pc Mount w/1" Rings, 3/8" Dovetail i wont need that scope stopper right? thanks again.

  • @skaterg807

That really depends on the receiver of the Gamo Big Cat. If it has a groove/hole to accept that mount then it should sit securely on it and would eliminate the need for the scope stop.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • im going to buy this scope, will it stand the 7.62 recoil? thanks.

  • @ComaradComisar

Yes, it will. Generally speaking, if it can withstand a powerful air rifle recoil, it will certainly withstand a firearm recoil.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair ok, thanks for answering.

  • would this work on a Crossman Phantom 1000? I heard it comes with 22mm rings, if so I'll need to buy the 11mm... what size is the scope, 30mm or 1 inch?

  • @BlankMindStudios

Yes, it would work on this Crosman air rifle. It's a 1" tube, follow the link under the video to see the specifications for this scope.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • what rail system would you need to mount this on a daisy powerline 901 air rifle

  • I would to like to put this on my gamo cfx.Would medium or high mounts be better?

  • Thanks Paul & Pyramydair. I spent a lot of time trying to find a good scope that will not break on my diana 54. I think I just found it.

  • It would be fine to put on a hatsan mod 125?

It "kicks" a lot when i fire and i would like to know if it will harm this scope(it is shockproof enough?)!

Thanks a lot in advance for your answer!

  • @grmrdrifter

Absolutely, this scope is TS (True-Strength) rated, so it's fine for any power air rifles, including most powerful ones. If you see the scope has TS on it, then you are OK to use it on such air rifles.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • so this would be fine on a .22 lr rifle? like a Ruger 10/22?

  • @dirtyminded604

Yes, it will hold just fine on any .22 lr.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair Thanks for the review, i went ahead and purchased the scope. I must say great features for the price. I havnt dialed it in at the range yet. quick question: what way do i turn the turret to raise my point of elevation? clockwise or counterclockwise? and what way to go left on the windage? couldnt find that in the manual. thanks.

  • how's the leapers 4-12x50?

  • @SANDYBOWLS

It's a great scope as well.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair

Do you know if the leapers 4-16x50 can be mounted on the gamo big cat stock rings or are they too small?

  • @SANDYBOWLS I have tried it on my big cat and it works but the scope rings tend to scratch the scoope. I would reccomend just getting new scope rings. I use the Leapers Accushot 1" Rings, High, 9.5-11.5mm Dovetail and the are outstanding.

  • @SANDYBOWLS

What is the diameter of the rings installed on your Gamo Big Cat 1200?

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Ist this an Air Rifle only Scope?

  • @ciscodiaz28

No, this scope can be used both on air rifles and firearms. Powerful air rifles have a recoil that is much harder on scopes than regular firearms (spring vibration lasts longer and passes on to scope). So generally speaking if a scope is rated as something that can withstand an air rifle, it can also withstand a firearm recoil.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair Thnx, I was thinking of putting one on my Mosin Nagant, Thnx :)

  • @ciscodiaz28

Sorry for such a huge delay in response. No it's not an air rifle only scope. Generally speaking if the scope can withstand break barrel air rifle it can withstand the firearm recoil, but not the other way around.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • will this scope be good for dark or lower light ?

  • will this scope fit the agm mp-001

  • Is 9x zoom enough? Or would it be worth or needed the extra 10 bucks to get 4-16 instead of 3-9? (I wouldn't be in any-place where I would need te extra zoom(for now), but I plan to make a purchase on a scope and not have to replace it for a long time, so I want to be sure i'll have enough)

    Thanks.

  • i ended up with the leapers 4-16x50 for only eighty dollars from PA. it's the fifth gen, true strength platform and it is NICE. the clarity and magnification is above and beyond what's good for my rws 34. i'm thinking of buying a ruger 10/22 and mounting my leapers on it or buying the same scope for it.

  • Most important question. How many shots on the average can this scope survive mounted to heavy recoil air rifle?

  • Quite a few actually. It's a TS platform by Leapers. When you get to our web site lookup an article called: "They asked for it". It's a review of Leapers scopes by Tom Gaylord. He shot Webley Patriot (one of the most notorious powerful air rifles) with one of the Leapers scopes mounted thousands of times...

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Can this scope focus at 10 yards.

  • Yes it can. This scope is called Bug Buster because it can focus down to 3 yards.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Can is scope zeroin at 10 to 15 yards. My yard is only 10 to 12 yards.I need a good scope for my crosman stormxt

  • Can is scope zeroin at 10 to 15 yards. My yard is only 10 to 12 yards.I need a good scope for my crosman stormxt

  • well the scope i want is larger, and i dont want my front sight to be in the way. i know it's high, but i'm wondering if i can buy medium height rings. can anyone w/ a 34 WITH droop compensator mount, tell me how tall your rings are?

  • im considering this scope for my rws 34. can anyone tell me how high my mounts should be? would you recommend sing or double mounts? i will have the weaver rail/ droop compensator and don't want the scope higher then necessary. are leapers and centerpoint the same? thanks guys.

  • I would recommend the same mounts we package with RWS 34 Striker combo package on our web site. They should work quite well for you. Leapers and Centerpoint scopes are manufactured on the same plant.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • you didnt answer my question.

i asked how long this is (leaper 3-9x40 5 Generation!!@$, with the sunshade on.) in parcticular, not " Gen 2"

and i know what "mil-dots" are. you said "you (AS IN I) have an option to use them.) so is there another set of crosshairs to use besides the mil-dots.

  • Sorry for not being clear. Paul reviews Gen. 2 in this review and is 7.8" long. Gen 3 is 8.4" long (our item code: PY-A-2713).

To answer the other question: mil-dots are there at all times, on the crosshairs that are in visible as is. It's up to you to use them to ignore them.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • how long is this in inches with the sucshade on?

and in the video you say,

"it has mil-dots if you care to use those"

does that mean it has another set of crosshairs or what? i order thisacouple days ago and it isnt here yet, so i wondered.

  • Gen 2 is 7.8" long. You can see the specs on our site, search for: PY-A-1206.

Mil-dots are dots you can see on reticles. You can see them when looking through the scope.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • can this scope stand against the recoil from a RWS 48/52 ?

  • Yes, it can. All Leapers scopes that have TS (True Strength) can stand recoil of the most powerful air rifles.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • go for leupold M4, when you want more quality or less money.

  • Leupold M4 cost about $1,000 +/- and are not airgun rated (reticles will most likely fall apart on powerful break barrel air rifles)

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Can I haz first?

  • i'd get one for any rifle. i recently bought the Center Point 4-16x40AO/IR scope from Wal-Mart and i am now a believer in Center Point and Leapers. i'll be getting nearly all of my future scopes from Leapers now :) if i had every airgun in the world, almost all of them would have a Leapers scope mounted on them (unless they make a combo with a Leupold.... but who would? lol)
