although I do not believe this was Jeffs best performance he was still good and not all wars are based off of religion. most are from ignorance, people feeling entitled, lack of respect for one another, and hard-headedness. these are things that lead to war and our downfall

I don't understand why ppl have to talk about everything but the point. If someone doesn't feel the spirit of God in this music, that person does not know Him at all, but i pray that He would reveal himself to all of you. In the end it always comes down to one thing -do you believe that God is good? That He knows what He's doing in any situation...that he loves you and can free you know matter how evil YOU have been.
i think you should start somehow else... i mean first i started with asking kosser321 what his point was. and i had a good chat with him. he explained his view, and was open to hear mine. he had questions, that i was glad to answer. i believe we Christians should start listening to the people, open ourselves so that we could succeed in the great command: to go and make disciples... to share the love that we were shared!

My point with the comment I said earlier was that almost all the wars that have been fought in history have been over religion. Whether Christian, Jewish, or Muslim, people die because of others peoples passion over their faith. The comment I said before is pointed at more of the extremist religious people. I guess to kind of proove my point, you never hear about a group of athiest starting or undulging in war do you? With all respect though, do your thing. I'm an opinionated guy.
Thanks for your explanation! You are right when you judge those who were killing others. even though they were called christians, they never new anything about God's heart. Those who are called by God's name are slowly but surely shaped onto God's personality.
God's personality, which is: just; have compassion on the needy, patient, kind, mercyful. bible also tells us: that the people in the world will recognize christians from: they will love one another. Bible talks about those who will say: Lord, didn't i do this or that for/in your name? and Jesus will say: i never knew you. away from me. it perfectly fits those who were crusading, killing people all around. all they were looking for were: greed and honor, that they seeked under religious mask.
