as a performer in this type of situation -- I would prefer the audience applauding because as a performer, this is what you feed off of -- this is not a formal concert people, this is literally a rock concert. Concert pianists in Beethoven's day use to have concerts where there were tons of screaming -- just like your boyband concerts of today -- I have no idea where this whole "sit and shut up" thing became a norm. Get over it people.

@johnnymapes There was never tons of screaming, I think that must be some bizarre myth to glamourise the history of art music. There was simply lots of background chatter because respect for the performer wan't as high as it is today. Just because a system was used 'a long time ago', doesn't make it better. It is not up to one audience member to dictate how another should experience the sound. That's why people are quiet during performances. It's the norm because it's better. 'Get over it'.

In order, the songs are: Victory Fanfare (many FF games) Prelude/Crystal Theme (most FF games) To Zanarkand (FFX) Aerith's Theme (FFVII) Eyes on Me (FF VIII) Fragments of Memories (FFVIII) Terra's Theme (FFVI) Melodies of Life (FFIX) Waltz for the Moon (FFVIII) One-Winged Angel (FFVII) Liberi Fatali (FFVIII) (then I'm not completely sure if the next part is something different or just a dramatic conclusion), then comes another Victory Fanfare XD

Most of the songs are kind of main themes from their games (although I'm surprised that "Fragments of Memories" is in there, although it's a pretty song maybe they could have used something from another game, like Suteki da Ne from X for example). I saw this live the other night in NYC and it was worth every penny XD

@doomsday19821982 i've said this before, but come on. in this atmosphere, when (if you even call yourself a ff fan) you're overwhelmed with all of these incredible emotions--nostalgia, love, that ache i get when i think about how much ff has changed me... when you're surrounded by people who know and understand these emotions, who wouldn't want to cheer? can you blame them? can't you embrace that everyone is just caught up in the moment and enjoying and reveling in this extraordinary experience?

@lilshortypie72 There is a time to do that, and that is AFTER the song, not during. I don't care how overwhelmed you are, it is just plain rude to the performers, and to fellow audience members, to applaud and yell during a song. I too have a great connection to these songs, they are the works of the best composer in the industry, but I would never have the urge to interrupt someone paying homage to that man's brilliance.

ive never played ff8 but ive heard alot of its pieces.

i liked the ff8 music better than ff7. ff7's just more known.

As you can see there are a lot of FF VIII pieces. Most people who follow FF series would agree that FF VIII is arguably the best FF soundtrack made by Nobuo Uematsu (excluding compilations, etc.)

Martin Leung is simply stunning, I truly hope to see more of him in the future.

Also, thanks for the nice quality filming and pristine audio. Usually self-filmed things end up blotchy and static-y, but you've done a great job keeping it all intact and steady as well. So thanks for that, and this is just entirely PHENOMENAL. There are no words fitting for how much I enjoyed watching this and love Final Fantasy music.

It's Terra/Tina's Theme from Final Fantasy VI. Very pretty song, I recommend listening to it in orchestral version or original version, anything really. Great song, beautiful stuff.
