  • I hate all these people commenting on something the don´t know. I would like to see them put up a video trying to do this...This is one of the mosts difficult maneuvers to achieve...Great job!!!

  • has anyone ever thought of over exaggerating the posture to show other dumb ass what to do, Its no use sitting perfectly still and telling dumb asses this is how you do it because dumb asses are blind to what the person is doing, I believe that exercise took skill! I don't see the horse being agitated or in pain a horse that has been trained properly will bend to pressure! I congratulate you on your effort!! also a lovely OBEDIENT WELL TRAINED HORSE :)

  • This girl is retard and think she's the shit !! But girl u ain't!

  • omg let go of her mouth and dont lean so much it really isnt that hard

  • Why are you not wearing a helmet?

That and you're balance when side stepping was horrible. It looked like you were about to fall off the horse.

  • PUT YOUR DAMN HANDS DOWN!!!

  • I think she has absolutely no "sensitivity" for a horse. As you can obviously see on the vid, the tongue is hanging out when she tries to "communicate" to its mouth. The reins are used VERY heavy and causing pane. Poor thing..

  • Its unnessary to be rube with your comments. Show us a video that you can do better.

  • @poppertop205 their split reins.

  • Sooo why does your horses chin have to be touching its chest?

  • deffinately do not think the having maybbe a correctional bit in a horse mouth and pulling that hard is nessarcy for a side pass....have your hand to your hips works alot better and also does not look so god damn dumb:)

  • lighten your damn reins so you dont look so stupid holding your hands at your chin!

  • @THismydream12 *tighten

  • u are to big for that horse,

  • her weight is what is causing the leather sound. she is way too heavy for that horse, in my opinion.

  • remember that when we teach people, we may have to exaggerate our movements on camera to get the point across. when i teach with videos...i come across completely incompetent as a rider..when in real life, i look much better. if there are concerns about this video then we can post a reply with information that might lead her to correct anything that she may see wrong in her riding style... speaking the truth in kindness goes along way. best wishes to all

  • wow rough audience, I think she does pretty good, I just taught my horse to side pass. I use a eggbutt snaffle though and don't need reins

  • Wow that creaking leather must be annoying. Lol. Good tip though..

  • She looks about as uncomfortable on a horse as I do and I've only ridden twice...what's with the reins?

  • why is she collapsing her hip, that makes it harder for the horse to move against the way her weight is pulling him.

  • well I think the lady needs to lose weight..she's way to big for that horse. And she also looks like she's leaning to far over on both sides when going one side to the other. Umm If I was that horse, sorry to say..I'd like to buck your fat azz off.

  • You don't need to be an asshole in your comments!

  • ok, i think we all got that 'this is a higher degree of difficulty'!!! horse doesn't look happy to me :(

  • Why are the reins held so high up? And why is her weight to the side that has to cross?

  • Expert?????????!!!!!!!!! Lends a whole new meaning to the old adage 'an 'ex' is a 'hasbeen' and a 'spurt' (sic) is a drip under pressure!!

This is an abomination as are all the clips from this 'Expert village' That poor horse's back, with her not inconsiderable weight dragging across it, and her hands causing the horse to try to escape the pressure of the sharp curb, by ducking behind it and going terribly overbent.

    Terrible. :-(

  • Sorry but everything about htat is dreadful from the hands down to the spurs. You really do not need to unbalance yourself (and the horse) like that to sidepass. Look at the horse's reaction, swishing tail, unbalanced, not fluid and not happy. There's NO WAY she should be wearing spurs wriggling about like that.

  • Very poor hand control. She's got the reins as high as her chest. The reins should always be low.

  • Once again, leaning horribly to either side. Balance yourself and balance your horse and let go of her face and it might be interesting to watch.

  • Once again agree! It looked so uncomfortable for that poor horse.

  • could you not show how to do it without those horrible contraptions on ur feet

  • are you kidding me...if you dont know what your talking about - dont say anything. Just because you wear spurs, does not mean you use them and she is doing an excellent job. I get so sick and tired of people like you, who speak and and now earthly idea what your talking about.

  • oh okay, yer so i work at one of the biggest eventing places in scotland - and i know nothing, okay wateva

  • Just because you may "work" in a eventing place - wherever, doesnt mean you become the advice expert. I work with the PRCA, WPRA, and the WRCA, .....oh well big deal. The lady does a fine job, and people have to knock others down...why.

  • look, i know that spurs are not humane, the horse dosent like them, all i sed was spurs were horrible contraptions - i am entitled to my own opinions

  • OMG! pretty wrong!
