Keith Green's life was amazing. His music descipled me when I became a new Christian in 1979. My wife and I saw him perform in Sacramento and then at Jesus West Coast just a month for two before he died. I still bring out his records and tapes periodically. I still thank God for Keith and his music coming into my life when I was just a babe in Christ. He didn't mince his words. He was serious about leading others to Christ and he did as much as he could during his short life. Thank you KG
What great talent! I'm so glad he decided to give his talent to the Lord rather than keep for himself.. He would have been an extremely successful artist but nothing would have compared to the reward of the countless peoples lives he has touched and saved.. mine included:)
I dont like this song by keith its too teenage anxt for me but I like the way I used to be it was more childlike I dont like the secular ones where he sounds older either! I dont like all of his gospel songs either my favourite is the one melody wrote there is a redeemer! nh
I wonder if Justin Bieber's heard this song. He could probably sing it. I'm very glad that Keith Green's too-brief life and career gave us some incredible Christian music. Donny Osmond's supposed to have gotten the intended audience of this song.
What was Decca Record's problem? Why did they lag in promoting Keith?!? (I've never heard of this artist and I can't remember how I got to this link)

Sorry Donny Osmond, no offense; but you should have been carrying this kid's bags up to his room for him!
Greatest record by an eleven-year old since Brenda Lee...and now I learn from our host that he was the primary writer of it, along with Raul Abeyta.
Thanks, Rich!

@nettieheart He wrote the song, right? So, you can't have any say about it.
