This woman is such a hypocrite. You all know that she has had TWO abortions herself right? This is what I can't stand about Republicans. I think its great that people are pro life and all (I believe in choice but would personally never abort a child) but my main problem is she doesn't explain how they would feed or care for children who weren't aborted if the mothers couldn't take care of them. Until being able to raise a child becomes cheaper or adoption rates sky rocket, abortion will happen whether it is legal or not. People have used other means in the past and it no doubt would happen whether choice exists or not.
It was in poor taste to air the graphic commercial in the early evening. The warning should have been placed BEFORE the ad, as is done with shows/movies. Unfortunately, Missy Smith's extreme measures will hinder her cause and tactics like hers will never earn my vote.
Take the right of choice away from women and you have done only two things: made women less than human, and forced thousands to seek dangerous back-street abortions.
In a place where abortions are illegal, how does one punish the woman who has had to make this difficult and painstaking decision? And do we punish the men responsible too?
Read The Handmaid's Tale, and then tell me that forcing a woman to carry to term against her wishes isn't cruel and anti-female.
