They showcased some big mod packs, like the technic pack, and they have their own modpack called the Yogbox. They're doing a little series based on the My Little Pony mod/plugin right now. In Shadow of Israphel, they use a much more limited amount of mods like the vehicles one.

I think it's safe to say that they most definitely use mods. :P
