I like this song. Althugh have mix feelings since it marke the end of Grand Funk; I wanted to continue hearing good music from them. Nonetheless, I like more now.
Far and away this was Grand Funk Railroad's best single. An amazing turnaround for them and proof that they had not lost their penchant for a good hook that they demonstrated in abundance in their previous tenure with Terry Knight And The Pack and (in Mel's case) Question Mark And The Mysterians. When they reunited in the 1980s and did those two albums for Full Moon Records, it was obvious that it was a lesson well learned.
Keep posting it! I know the "police" like to take this down, but you just keep uploading it. Wonderful song. Great job, and thanks from those of us who love all of what the Funk had to offer. This song's hard to find on many greatest hits cd's.
MusicMike, once again, you amaze. This time by posting this burried, uncharacteristic slice of pop from GFR. So interesting and enjoyable to hear this. Thanks.
Mike who's the incredible woman in the clip?

Not exactly Born to Run, but I like the story inside of this tune.
