Although I can't hear the lyrics I was really hoping this album would be a lot more mature. The music sounds like vintage Yellowcard from Ocean Avenue days... their worst record. Hmm.

@musicismyfavorite777 I think they are trying to go for the sound that made them famous. When they decided to stray away from that sound with "Lights and Sounds" that's when their success diminished. I don't know if there is a place in the charts for this "pop-punk" genre anymore but I guess that's why they are releasing this on a independent label. I can't wait for the new record nevertheless.

@spinct83 I completely agree with you, looks like they may just be in it for the money. I'll definitely look into the album, though I'm just more of a fan of their more mature sounding songs, even before Ocean Avenue the albums were better in my view. I like Ocean Ave okay but was my least favorite record. And I figured that since the age of pop punk is over they would be doing a more intense, emotional, mature album. But we shall see.
