by the end of this movie, i waas actually crying for Jonah. he went through something awful, and all he wanted was to save the people that he never got to. he figured out they were doing the evil things and he knew Matt was the right person to help stop them. in the end, he did good in his afterlife, when he never got to in his real life.

he was such a young, handsome boy, and my heart hurts for him.

Thanks for the upload you saved me a rental... Excellent movie, i am surprised it didn't come out at the cinemas in Australia although it was released around the same time as 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' which in my opinion wasn't very good but it had high demand... Lastly 'Abricialio' if your not happy then check the facts next time before exclaiming that someone is wrong, the information may not be on the Dutch version of Wikipedia but it is on other websites.

Wzruszyłam sie na końcu. Końcówka wycięta z "Okruchów życia". Film wciąga do momentu, gdy chłopak mówi: "I'm already dead". Potem wszystko to tylko nudy na pudy. Ciekawe jak ta historia zakończyła się w realu, bo ni wydaje mi się, aby zakończenie miało jakikolwiek związek z rzeczywistościa. A szkoda. Super pomysł, budowanie napięcia i tak dalej, ale na dobry horror (od początku do napisów końcowych) trzeba nam jeszcze poczekać

@dale73056 this movie is about a serious haunting in a house. matt is sick with cancer and he can only see the ghosts because he is on deaths door step. and the other boy he is trying to tell the family that the place is haunted by trying to scare them out of the house but matt wants to find the bodies that were stolen from the graveyard and he suffers for it...

Yes, but very losely based on a true story. Hollywood added alot of things that never happened. The house never caught fire anf there were never any bodies in the walls... Hollywood added that to dramatize it.

The script of The Haunting in Connecticut had an different family, bodies in the walls (in real they were in the bottom), and the house was actually burnt down in real life to 'free' the trapped souls inside the house.
