Square is great UNTIL you need customer support. Their Support is NON EXISTENT. Try looking up their customer support phone number. It's NOT on their site. It's NOT toll-free. They do have a toll-number (that's OK), but it ALWAYS rolls to voicemail. And they NEVER return calls. Look up their rating at the BBB. It's a C! Do you want to give a company with a C rating unlimited access to your bank account? I wish I'd done my research before I got my Square reader.
exactly the american dream, die in debt, it just the way it is... credit is here to stay. haha.... and cutting down trees to make paper money.. ahhaha.. american money is made from cotton not paper. do some homework! dont get me started on plastics. lawls
@rezrocknj this sis exactly WHY AMERICA IS GOING BAD.. EVERYBODY CHARGES!! PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE LIVING BEYOND THERE MEANS. GO AWAY WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD BULLSHIT.. WHAT SO I CAN GET IN DEBT LIKE THE REST OF YOU. HELL NO. IM NOT TRYING TO BE SOMETHING IM OBVIOUSLY NOT. WHEN I GET OUT OF SCHOOL AND MAKE MONEY.. THEN ILL HAVE A CREDIT CARD AND HOPEFULLY HAVE MONEY TO PAY IT OFF. I ONLY PAY FOR THINGS
CASH. ITS BETTER. STOP BEING SO MATERIALISTIC. i don't need materialistic things to make me happy.
@kuntyfacedbitch ok, the only reason you have a thumbs up is because i accidentally hit it when i tried to click reply. so don't think someone agrees with you. your comment doesn't make any sense. cash its better. stop being so materialistic. wtf does that have to do with using a credit card. this isnt why america is going bad. if anything its cash because the more money being printed out is cutting down trees. credit cards are tiny pieces of plastic that you keep.
@kuntyfacedbitch I have a credit card that I rarely use.I use my debit card mostly. I doubt you walk around with a wad of cash in your pocket especially when it costs $60 dollars to fill up a Camry and few hundred to buy groceries. Most of my clients are dropping several thousand dollars on flight instruction a month. I'm actually suppose to call the FBI if someone pays with a large sum of cash. Right or Wrong, this little tool helps me because I don't have to wait until pay day
@BronzeProductions Maybe manually entering the credit card info? I couldn't find a cap in their FAQ, but it says this: "* If you accept more than $1,000 in card-not-present payments during any trailing seven day period, Square will defer depositing the amount in excess of $1,000 for 30 days."
And:
"For manually entered payments (payments where the card is not swiped), there is a $1,000 weekly deposit limit. (This limit does not apply to swiped payments.)"
@flintp51 Ah, interesting. I am new to using this device and heard through grapevine that there was a limit to monthly earnings. I will never manually enter either. Sorry to have you run through their FAQs, I kind of feel bad. Thanks again for clarifying it.

@flintp51 There is a $1000 cap a month, so how are you getting away with several thousands?
