DW-6900 is an Atomic Solar version while G-6900 is only Solar. Atomic means it synchronises time with centers around the globe, depending on your location.

As for the green/blue light difference, this model has green illumination. But when you shoot a video - it appears as blue. Try taking a picture with your phone :)

@MDXAZN I got a question. I`ve been owners of Pathfinder for last 10 years. The only complain is that requires 4 batteries. How does the TOUGH SOLAR system works. Is it reliable?

How often does it have to be exposed to the light in order to charge it efficiently ? Do you have a situations when it runs out of juice?( I use eluminator a lot) My only concern is sometimes I spent a lot of time indoors and don`t wanna be in situations when my watch dies cause I didn`t charge it enough. Any advice

All we can do is sit here and watch you most of the time watching the G-shock yourself. Turn it towards cam m8! And (regarding your yellow GW 6900 review) casio does not have 6 atomic radiostations all over the world! Check out wikipedia for atomic clocks worldwide. And of course the watch does only adjust time and date via atomic radio signal - it's not automatically changing the timezones.

Maybe you americans should also recognize that europe is not a country and we don't live in tents :-)

I just bought the GW-6900 with the multi-band 6 from amazon the actual site not a third party seller, but it says Casio China on the buckle. Does that mean its fake since its not Casio Jaapan?

No, I have the limited edition Redman G-Shock, and I ordered it directly from Casio, and it also has Casio China on the buckle. So you're good.

Can I ask, if you are in stopwatch or timer mode, does it show the current time?

And also, is there 'flash function?' As in, the backlight flashes when the alarm goes off or the timer goes off etc etc

So just confirming, if you flick it to 'stopwatch screen' does it show the current time in that screen as well? Or do you need to flick back all the way home screen again to be able to see the current time ?

you have to switch it back to the current time mode....it does not show the current time when you are using the stop watch mode.

Mine was shipped to me - 3 weeks, but when i get it out the box - it was Hi power mark on it.
