for me it wont be the same ninja gaiden. limbs flying off injured enemies was the ultimate gameplay reward for me... of course, it added to excellent gameplay.
Actually, they arent qte's (cos thats what i thought at first) theyre just tutorial things to introduce you to the brutality feature so theyll dissapear once you get used to it :)

And, if you notice after the "qte's", the guy playing does the same brutality moves on the enemy, and look, no qte's :)

The qte's thing has been clear up in their latest interview, they are confirmed to be as you thought.
