I love this film! I had the luck to watch a british film copy in the cinema "Filmmuseum" in Munich. The colors are fabulous! It was shoot with the old technicolor system! Fantastic!

I actually think this trailer is creepier than the US version. Somehow the stills do that for me. I guess it is in the nature of Horror that part of what haunts you the most is what is hinted at and left to your imagination. By the way, can anyone tell me who the actual killer was? I've watched it the whole movie a couple of times, but I just never picked that up.

Nothing yet. No photos or any info has been released yet as far as I know. Who knows if it'll even happen. . . But it would be awesome. Well, if they kept the original score by Goblin and didn't make it about robowitches.

No disrespect, but any actress would be a BAD idea, this is a 'giallo' and the best example of italian horror there is.  No american film could begin to understand this concept, no matter how good the actors, script writers ( suspiria has no understandable story anyway ) director or budget. The film is a dream from start to finish, with no mass appeal. Any remake would be put through the 'McDonalds' grinder and just like McDonalds, a total insult to real food or film. Dont promote a remake!!

Reportedly, Argento wanted the main theme for "Suspiria" to be a something like the one for "Rosemary's Baby"; so Goblin recorded a woman humming a lullaby, as Mia Farrow did for "Rosemary's...", but in a witch's voice — chilling!!!

you see, back when this movie came out, (1977) people were scared of alot of things, and believed in things we today know are fictitious. so a simple yet absurd story about witches and ballet schools we might find silly, back in the 70s it was f#&*%ng scary. I don't find Suspiria scary, I just think it's artistic and the soundtrack is astounding

After months of various people chasing the rights for a remake of the Dario Argento classic Suspiria, the maestro himself has finally given the project his blessing.

According to Bad Taste Marco Morabito will produce and "David Gordon Green will be the director; Dario Argento finally has agreed to...the remake.
