  • Barry McGuigan is a an Irish and British boxing legend. FACT!

  • barry would klll naseem ..

  • @MrBoomy8

ya know what's funny, Stallone was just elected into the boxing hall of fame lol!!!!! and mcguigan does deserve it!!!! just saying.

  • 8:46 did he say and he did not beat the cunt

  • How was mcguigan elected to the hall of fame, he beat aload of has beens and lost the title to a club fighter. They might as well elect sly stallone he's more deserving of the hall of fame then this pussy!!!!!!

  • irish peopel are pussies and they should leave boxing to blacks and hispanics.

  • DragonFishBlow: Belfast is in Northern Ireland mate.

  • the thing that sucks about being taller is u always fight ppl bigger than u are...

  • good 2 have an early night no ?

  • Barry was fuckin great

True fighter, proper laid this guy out who had only ever been down once and outreached barry by far.

    Fuckin get in!

  • Legend he bridged the gap of the troubles Time to unite we all flesh and bone one race the human race

  • I will always remeber what he done out of the ring , especially with the situation in Ireland at the time , he could unite the people both Catholic and protestant , and that during the 1980's takes a very special person

  • @theblackmafia71 not really...the people in ireland north and south unite behind anyone they see as an underdog..Its the bastards in ireland and northern ireland that give the impression the people need united

  • pacman reminds me of barry.

  • McGuigan was a good fighter, love that pressure. This was how Duran should've fought Hearns.

  • grandissimo cuore ,grande personaggio.

  • i love barry as a fighter

  • Azumah Nelson was the WBC champion he would`ve beat Barry McGuigan the WBA champion.

  • who is in the hall of fame ...yeah he was a hype job

  • i gave you a thumbs down by mistake is was ment to be a thumbs up

  • ill hype job u you school boy

  • Ducking and dodging all the way. Nice to see it actually work instead of fail.

  • what a great fighter and a gent outside teh ring.McGuigan is a real star.

  • McGuigan was a brilliant fighter, absolutely relentless. His opponents just could not keep up with his workrate. He retired too early on the back of a loss due to a cut. I feel that had he kept going he would have regained his title. Thanks for posting this video it brought back great memories.

  • Barry was outworked by an inferior fighter in McDonnell in his last fight and that says a lot. In later years he stated that after the loss to Steve Cruz, his heart was no longer in it.

He went at the right time mate.

  • I was ringside for the McDonnell fight and he was not outworked. Barry was frustrated by a horrendous cut and McDonnel was bottling it and basically the cut was too bad to allow it to go on. Barry was a country mile better than Jim McDonnell. Jim's a nice guy by the way but he was the most relived fighter on the planet that night.

  • cant beat an irish man at his own game HAHA

  • He's Irish mate, not british!!

  • He is from Northen Ireland which is a part of the United Kingdom.

  • Sorry, I was wrong about that.

  • youre not right there. Barry is from Clones co.Monaghan which is the Republic of Ireland, not Great Britain.

  • WHAT? I thought he was from Brixton in London

  • u are joking right?

  • Of course mate, Im taking the piss ha ha =P

  • yeh i thought so lol.

  • yeh i thought so lol.

  • Get ur facts straight.Barry is from Clones Co.Monaghan which is the Republic of Ireland

  • They think that because he's from Ulster, that it's part of GB, when of course, three counties of Ulster, including the one Barry is from, belong to the Republic. Some need an education me thinks.

  • He's Irish mate, not british!!

  • Mt faverite British fighter, robbed of his world title!

  • nice fight my dad knows his son pat mcguigan

  • true fighter and a true gentlemen..a living legend !!

  • Barry McGuigan...A living legend!

  • Barry McGuigan was the best and fantastic to watch....after a period of calm he would just erupt and he was SO fast :-)

I'd just started high school the first time I saw him fight on TV & the adrenalin rush I had was unreal so I was hooked after that :-)

(How come at 11 years old I was leaping about & roaring excitedly as I watched 2 blokes pound each other, while my friends did cutesy make-up things with their 'Girls World')

  • seriously ya dumb bloke grow up

  • damn did u see the movement of barry in the first few mins he was legendery

  • cmon the irish

  • OH DANNY BOY

  • Thanks for these videos, been looking to watch some of McGuigan's old fights.

What a cracker this one was !!

  • brilliant the man is a ledgend and a gentleman

  • COME ON MCGUIGAN!

  • he,s a legend

  • Great vid, cheers for posting this.

    Barrys a top bloke.

  • Barry was/is a warrior and a big man.

  • No idea where people get em fella ! This fight ? @ least 20 years old I reckon. I remember whatching it live on TV as back then ? Mcguigan was a top draw. Bless all who post the older fights here. Otherwise? Lost forever I reckon !

  • damn dude where do ppl get these dvds. I cant find boxing vids for the life of me in new york man. even in espn center in fuckin times square they don't have shit.

  • Acoustics are dodgy due to the hall the bout was held in. See if you can get a hold of Pedroza vs Mcguigan . Held @ wembley stadium with about 70,000 in attendence.

  • McGuigan-Pedroze wasn't held at Wembley Stadium. It took place at Loftus Road Stadium in London, home of Queens Park Rangers football club. There were about 30,000 in attendance.

  • nearly as good as his mashed potato

  • shit atmosphere. Its like a football match and not a boxing match

  • What are you talking about!!

They dont play the rocky theme at football matches

  • a lot of football fans go to watch boxing to ,what do you want stoney silence ,havent you watched boxing before, look at kaylor errol christie fight ,lots of west ham folled him, steve foster and robert macracken ,and so on

  • sheik - What atmosphere do you expect at the boxing? lol

Football fans are often boxing fans - you know, the people who actually fork out the cash and go and watch, instead of sitting on their sofas talking shit - like you.

Go and watch Hatton fight, just don't wear your united top, you fucking dick.

  • those were brilliant nights, great memories!

  • I was at this and was with Orozco after the fight...huge guy he was.

  • thanks!
