like all artists, not all of the material is going to be epic and amazing. that's why the shitty songs don't get put on the albums. this could be some douche bag playing with fruity loops (and doing a really good job) but it could also very well be ant sitting at home just fucking around on some shit that he knows slug isn't going to like.
