  • "fortunately...I don't have to deal with that ridiculous bullshit!" ahh you summed it up right there buddy! I will say though, how can a view of all religions worshiping the "same" god be anything but inane and comical? It's not enlightened to say that all gods ever imagined are ultimately the same, since most have mutually exclusive traits which contradict each other left and right. Unless you say that all religions are misapprehensions of a greater power and nobody has gotten it right yet..

  • Good video John but I have to tell you I'm a big fan of the Buddha.I really don't consider Buddhism to be a religon though as they have no deity Buddha was simply an enlighten being . I hadn't heard of the clash between the buddhist and hindu. But your right about the money it's all about that and population control.

  • I'll be watching more of your videos. :)

  • @Comp1337e Glad to hear that thanks

  • @oldcomic1 You're welcome. But thank you for the videos.

  • George Bush really made some sick statements against Muslims. of course he called them radical, but that doesn't really matter.

  • @LouieDaProtectionist Yeah he sort of did , but yet Dubya fans thought he was realy geting down on muslims and quicky forgot his pro muslim speach and placeing a copy of the Koran in the white house library, mostly for he and daddys cronies benifit the Saudas...

  • @LouieDaProtectionist Much as I despised Bush, he did make some effort to reach out to muslims

  • @oldcomic1 he reached out to Muslims? come on man. he was a big time bigot and preached hate. that man is purely evil.

  • @LouieDaProtectionist Please don't make me defend a man I despised. Bush actually had the guy from the world trade center mosque go to the middle east to work with imams there. I'm sure that he curried favor with the religious right, but he left muslim bashing to others

  • Btw I like the point you brought about how christians ,jews and muslims have the same skymonkey/daddy ... Odd how they hate each other isn't it... Like the todlers in day care argueing and fighting over crayons after theyv'e been scatered all over the floor and co- mingeled....

  • @kamphwagon1 Good point

  • Ahh the cause of justified hate, murder and suffering among the human race , my skymonkey is better than yours... This horse shit has been going on ever since cave men had superstisions the only thing religon does is keep on keeping this ignorance alive...

  • @kamphwagon1 I noticed that

  • @oldcomic1 How about Ole Goose Grease's latest over thought coment /non logical gaff that" gay rights were bigoting christian beleifs"...ROFL As if gays were bashing christians.. It looks like this pandering fuckwit could come down to reality and notice whats actualy is going on .. It's the christians who are spending money in the media to put down the gays ,not the other way around...

  • @kamphwagon1 So true

  • @oldcomic1 ROFLOL I get a bang out of these educated morons like Newt ,and WR politicans with their pandering for the christian vote makeing a cretin's gaff in the process.. The logic remides one of a day care full of todlers with their boxs of crayons scatered all over the floor.. LOL

  • I see it more as being about power and control over other people, although for sure, money features prominently. How else would they build their empires without it. Go see the Vatican. That must have cost a fortune.

  • @GordyDownUnder And also - what the Devil represents for some people is freedom - from those religious power and control structures.

  • @GordyDownUnder And he's a lot more fun

  • There are only two possibilities a) Only one religion is correct and the rest are wrong b) they are all wrong. Due to lack of evidence for any of them i plump for b).

  • @pilgrimpater So you exclude the possibility that they're all right. I don't think they are but you have to include it just to be fair

  • @oldcomic1 In theory yes but each religion claims itself to be the one and only true religion. So only one could possibly be right. On the other hand there could be a number of gods allocated to different geological areas and times but then again "bang", there goes your monotheism.

  • @pilgrimpater Yes, there goes monotheism and here comes an infinite source of comedy

  • Or the question can also be if there just is one God wish religion have interpret what that God is all about, coz what religion claim God is might not be what God really is (if God exists). Just one more thought on this one. Regards and have a skilful time. Pinge

  • @PingeMusic Good to hear from you, dude

  • @oldcomic1 I am almost always around not always commenting though. Regards and have a skilful time. Pinge

  • Interesting video, I agree there is nothing more hypocritical then one person claiming that they have the true faith. If one religion is true then they all are, by the same logic if one is fake then all the others are too. Btw if I didn’t already know you were an atheist I would have thought you were Bahai… one of the most interesting religions in my opinion

  • @xxa455xx I'm not Bahai, just regular high

  • @oldcomic1 haha that’s a good pun, Bahai is a religion that acknowledges all other religions they believe that there is one gradually unfolding religion each different religion is seen as a new chapter

  • @xxa455xx Good for them

  • Don't have to deal with that bullshit my ass! My nothing is way better than your nothing! lol

  • @AlekzHertz I have the Great Nothing. See my Books of Nothing videos

  • @oldcomic1 I've watched most of them. Your hymn to the Great Nothing is stuck in my head.

  • @AlekzHertz Sorry about that

  • I've always said, if one god is true they are all true; if one god is false then they are all false. I hold to the opinion that none exist as they are defined by all the currently extant religions. I say to them: "please provide impirical evidence that your imaginary super friend actually exists & on which cloud he/she sits on." Only then will I "believe." Until then, they are all only concepts I can understand but I do not need to literally believe in.

  • @FreeformTao Still waiting for proof

  • @FreeformTao but then you will not believe then you know ;-)

  • I agree a lot of religious scum are wholly concerned with dollars, but there's an absurd amount of sect squabbling based primarily on the interpretation of what 'sky master X' (insert fabled deity) decrees. To me, a lot of this in-fighting never rises above the level of the ego to actually even be driven by dollars, as religion, in general, is so egocentrically based.

  • @thraxman It's a hustle

  • John, you're right. We don't have to worry who's god is the greatest, after all we have proven already that a non-existent god is infinitely greater than any other god and in the same argument that god does not exist. We needn't argue or worry, we're right already. Thank nothing. ;-)

  • @Quintinohthree All hail the Great Nothing

  • The devil is better then all their Gods put together and the only reason they worship a God instead of the devil is because they think he has more muscle, this shows how full of shit people really are, they will only side with a free spirit so long as there is no asshole with super powers holding a grudge against it.

  • @Brettkenster I'm not really advocating Satan ism

  • @oldcomic1 Ha! No, the devil is just as fake as any God I was talking from a story line POV I think the devil is a better character then God.

  • @Brettkenster In all the movies the bad guy's lair is always more fun than the good guys

  • Kaching!!

  • @SiriusMined :-}
