  • 1. America cars the best

    2. European cars pretty good

    3. Japanese cars suck

    4. India cars worse

  • Jeep sounds like a redneck POS like my neighbor drives and constantly annoys people with. I love the Porsche, but i'd rather have a BMW x5M :P

  • X5M for my money :D

  • Are they seriously comparing these two? Lol

  • Most of the guys here are fucking poor and would never buy one as if the were up to they would not spend time wathcing videos but study and work instead... and then decide which car to pick -_-

  • Making my own conctibutions to taht stupidity that washes out my brain I would say: why argue at which to pick. Take fucking both and be cool.

  • Jeep is certainly worth of each of those bucks that make the price. The same as Cayenne actually. And quite as usual there are some pricks that are disscusing the cars the holywar kind of way each camp and they would never come to consensus as they are just pricks that are kiddish and no little about cars and marketing fundamentals. Other two groups of idiots would argue with those listed before about their prickness or tick a like at those comments like I posted now.

  • damn that Grand Cherokee sounds good

  • made in usa <- BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA u make me laugh

  • @anjoLas .........Hmmm OK " Made in the US" is laughable ? Who is better in Space ? Aeronautics ? Shipbuilding ? Farming ? Nuclear Power ? Oil Refinement ? Software ? Military hardware ? Medicine ? Construction Vehicles ? And now cars,........driven a Volt, Tesla, Fisker, Saleen, CTS-V or Corvette Z06 / ZR1 lately ? Compare them in their segment dollar for dollar or just by performance (if they are segment pioneers).

  • @AutoBahnForever : Europe and Japan make ALL better that usa, besides, usa was discovered by the european, wich means you all are european, the REAL north americans are the Cherokee´s, Sioux´s etc. And btw " America " is a continent u dumbass. Question : u speak 9 languages ? i do, and english is my 3rd :)

  • @anjoLas ................Stick with the other languages. "America" is what is known as a commonly used term for the United States of America.........but you wouldn't know that living in whatever spot on the globe you can afford. Your opinions are incorrect and somewhat childlike.

  • @AutoBahnForever : u mad u can only speak one language ? :) oh and can u find your penis with all that fat ??? " FIND YOUR PENIS 4 ONE DOLLAR, FIND YOUR PENIS " - Stewie made by a fat north american that is ALWAYS making fun at usa bahahaha

  • @anjoLas ......two,........but one I can speak and write well. Also, my language is the most important language on earth.......yours whatever it is, not so much.

Obviously you have one thing that dominates your thoughts,....go with it, (not that there is anything wrong with it).

Keep that cap lock on......it makes it so much more compelling. Great insight,........post some more wisdom.

  • @anjoLas ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,You commented so smoothly,....." America " is a continent u dumbass. Question : u speak 9 languages ? i do, and english is my 3rd :). Next time go with QWERTY phone.

"America" is not a continent,.........North America and South America are continents. Or did you learn something different in school ? Remember to use the cap lock to answer.

  • @anjoLas The only thing that makes me laugh here is your terrible spelling. Please first learn to spell properly and then go fuck yourself.

  • @pimpninja1985 : " pimp ninja " <- REALLY ?! BAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHA ! killyourself :D

  • @anjoLas Is that the best comeback you could think of? seriously? You just killed yourself with such a dumb comment. Thanks for doing us all a favor.

  • @pimpninja1985 dont payattention to him. hes just jealous his chick-car got humiliated by a jeep.

  • @fatty1443 Maybe I am a chick and just maybe, I don't own a Jeep. Your move, precious.

  • exelente video

  • I'd choose the Jeep for its looks and engine sound.

  • Comment removed

  • the jeeps stats are higher than they realy are the are closer to the cayenne

  • driven both of them because im a valet. Im from Detroit and love German cars but the Jeep is the way to, put a vortec in the engine and do some mods and youll be good. considering theres a $40k difference and thats not with options...

  • There are two different buyers. Porsche is full of technology, very high quality materials, handles, built to last. The Jeep is obviously the cheaper side of it. The Cayenne is actually out selling its competition

  • @RobAlpacaflip no sir u suck apperantly u have never owned a luxury car and if the jeep had a turbo which would of made it a fair fight the porsche would of got wrapped so yah u can suck a fat dick u fucking pussy hahahahahaha

  • take that turbo out of the porsch and the srt8 would wrape it srt8 is still better looks way nicer

  • german engineering>amercan..

  • @Annakkanalen From what I heard, the GC has some Benz in it..

  • @Annakkanalen Porsche - weights 4784 lbs. base price is 100 grand! and the design is a pussy...cant imagine a guy driving it...

Jeep - 5150 lbs (full tank) base price is 26 - 54 grand, the design is a kick in the head, didnt seen more agressive SUV yet...

  • @ACCHRM If you saw the previous SRT-8 GC, you might have your opinion on it's design. I think it looks better than the current model. I think they changed it because you couldn't tow with the last one, but that was just because the exhaust was where the hitch would go. :P

  • imagine if the SRT8 had a turbo..... damn

  • The cayenne is twice the price but it ain't near twice the car.

  • @alessandrozerbone I Beg To Differ. Yes The Jeep Is A Good Car But It's Not As Fast As The Porsche, Doesn't Handle As Well, Isn't As Well Made, Doesn't Have As Much Kit As The Porsche, Doesn't Have It's Interior Quality, Isn't As Refined Or As Comfortable,Not As Economical Or Anything. The Porsche Has The Jeep Licked In Every Category. Again I Say The Jeep Is A Good Car, But The Cayenne Is Twice The Car And Then Some, So It Does The Deserve Twice The Price

  • @Kemfii Have you seen the interior of the jeep? I've been in the porche and it doesn't impress me. And from this video the cayenne is only a wee bit faster than the jeep, certainly not worth paying double for a few tenths of a second less time. Plus the Jeep can tow 7400 pounds, plow through snow and sand, and drive up and down mount everest. The Cayenne's just a 550 hp soccer mom car.

  • @alessandrozerbone Okay Here At A Quarter Mile Its Only A Few Tenths Faster But If You Keep On Going The Jeep Will Fall Further Behind. The Regular Jeep Is Brilliant Off Road But In This SRT-8 Trim All The Offroad Bits Are Gone, No Quadra Lift Air Suspension, No Locking Diffs, No Low Range Gear Box Or Hill Descent Control, The Porsche In This Case Is By Far The Better Off Road Car In This Comparison, It Comes With Locking Diffs, Air Suspension, Hill Descent Control Etc.

  • @Kemfii That was the case with the old jeep srt which was only a street ride, the new ones do all that off road shit too.

  • @alessandrozerbone No They Can't At Least Not In SRT-8 Trim. Jeep Said The Wanted The SRT-8 To Be A Street/Track Focused SUV So The Ditched All The Off Road Stuff, You Can Even Look It Up On Their Website

  • @Kemfii I own a 2012 SRT8 and can honestly say that I am never going to consider the Porsche. It costs about $40k more (base), and for what? A turbo charger? The Jeep looks meaner, sounds better, and if I install a turbo, will leave the Cayenne in the dust. I'll buy the Porsche for my wife someday. Until then, people who care more about status symbols than what they actually want, or people who capitalize every word and make absolutely no grammatical sense or impact can have it.

  • @jnsn06 Agreed. I Wouldn't Buy The Cayenne Either Even Though It Is A Better Made Car Compared To The Jeep It's Just Too Ugly For Me. Instead I Would Buy The New ML63 AMG. Sounds Meaner And Looks Meaner Than Both Cars. It's 25K Less Than The Cayenne, Same Interior Quality, Faster Than Both Cars, Will Hold It's Own Off Road. Don't Get Me Wrong The Jeep Is A Really Good, Wouldn't Begrudge Anyone Who Bought One. It Just Isn't Quite There Yet. Its Lacks The Refinement And Quality Of It's Rivals

  • @Kemfii I think the ML63 looks like a soccer mom car as well. Most European SUVs have that same compact look that I'm not a fan of. I respect your opinion, but think the ML63 is the last of the three. I'd place it 5th under the X5 M and even a Q7S. Furthermore, I don't get why everyone keeps bragging about "holding it's own off-road." You've got to be insane to take any of these cars off the pavement. I still love the Jeep. It's the most beautiful one in it's class.

  • @jnsn06 Honestly, What's Wrong With The Range Rover Sport Supercharged. It's Quite Fast, Luxurious Interior, Handles Very Well, Has As Much Kit As The Rest Of Them And I Keep Talking About Offroad Prowess Cuz I Do Take My Car Offroad, By The Way I Have 2008 Range Rover Sport Supercharged. It's Also Very Good Looking. It Just Seems Like The Best Choice

  • @Kemfii I think Range Rovers are too expensive for how unreliable they are. My old roommate has one, it's constantly breaking down, and has NEVER been off road. I've seen older SRT GCs go to 150k miles w/o any major repairs. I like the look of the RR, but still think the Jeep looks better. Once Jeep gets all of the tech that European cars have, they'll take tons of market share. Furthermore, I saw a vid of a stock 12 SRT that hit 4.3 sec 0-60 mph. I'll try to find the link for you

  • @jnsn06 Reliability Has Increased A Lot Since The Take Over. Plus With The New Range Rover On The Way Which Will Spawn The Next RR Sport Which Will Be All Aluminium Making It Much Quicker. Plus American Cars Will Always Be Playing Catchup When It Comes To Tech, Just Look At Mercedes No One Can Keep Up With Them. Then You Add BMW+Audi Into The Mix.Remember The Only Reason The RR Sport Is Pegged At The Top End Is Due To Tires. My Friend Slapped On Some Pirelli PZero Corsas And Took It Up To 172mph

  • @Kemfii why the FUCK is your comment's words all starting with capitals??

  • @alessandrozerbone couldnt have said it better, i agree 100%

  • Haha, Jeep sucks, doesnt matter what trim it is.

  • i have a '12 jeep srt8 these times are just not accurate..the only time i hit 5.1 is when i dont shift at the right time, or lag on launch..otherwise 4.4 to 4.7 all day...and high 12's in the quarter..so , for me, same performance, 50k less..and i just think the jeep looks better sorry..ill take the jeep over those awesome but overpriced trucks any day..

  • @deljuicy0309 amen brother !

  • Now put a turbo on the Jeep= Cayenne Raped!

  • what are the breaks on the posch?

and was is with ptm , pdcc , ptv ?

  • @m19921992 fuck u jeep can suck on porsches sweaty gooch

  • Jeep is the better value, that's what matters these days, not what the 1% can afford.

  • For me being a Porsche fan, the sound of that Jeep is amazing.

  • lol poor mans cayenne

  • Good review. Jeep did real well only $50,000 different between the vehicles

  • that Porsche sure has a Frog Face!

  • @CHUUMPASS you have a frog face

  • Why is the jeep farts when he want to shift, lol

  • GC sounds way cooler and its badass

  • never compare american with german or japanese in car production coz you can never prove a point

  • Comment removed

  • Its a Jeep enough said (poor quality)

  • So the Cayenne Turbo got better performance than an SRT-8. Big surprise.

It also did so at a cost of diminishing returns. Big surprise.

I appreciate the numbers, but man, that was one boring video....

  • am not sure whats the point of this comparison, why dont you get the X5 M instead of the SRT8, I mean how the hell they Could compare a Porsche with Jeep, thats silly... even if the performance is close though its not... its like comparing a Bently with a Chrysler SRT8

  • im prty sure the jeep is cost half the money when u start putin options on porsche..............and u can actually hear the engine

  • i hate niggers

  • @seanavila17 And I'm prty sure they hate you back....said by a non nigger, but a nigger lover...now gow fuck your mom the way your dad fucked you when you were little..... who knows...maybe you were adopted as well.....thats getting butt fucked....TWICE.....

  • @mikealanzo you are a bullshit

  • @RichardJoash Whats ur problem!?!

  • @mikealanzo he is just a randomly ranting ass wipe, that's all ! LOL greetings to you, ;)

  • id say the jeep won, its a bit nicer looking, just about as fast, not turbo and still keeps up with the Porsche all day long....not to mention its QUITE cheaper....

  • @92XJlaredo Well, you're wrong about "keeping up" with the Porsche, but I agree on the price per performance. It's close enough. Frankly, I'd be curious to see the Cayenne S vs the SRT-8 because they're closer in dollar figure.

  • its an unfair compairison

  • Okay let's take half of the difference in price and put it into the the Jeep and redo the test. The test results would be a lot different I would wager. Why can't these guys ever get it right and compare vehicles that are closer not only in performance but in price as well. The Jeep fully loaded is close to half the price but not half the value, more like 90%.

  • @royme55 u go do tht and get back to us on it... tool

  • @flyersyouth12 Tool? How intelligent. It is obvious that there is a major lack of any kind of thought behind your comment. It would be so nice to actually carry on an intelligent debate without personal attacks or insults. I guess I shouldn't expect much from anyone that spells "you with a U" or That without the a. Have a nice day Mr. Tool Man.

  • I am not sure why but all of the videos for inside line tend to be slower than those of motor trend. The Jeep got way quicker numbers from MT. Slower drivers? Higher Elevation? Kind of reminds me of the Top Gear video with Clarkson where he tests both cars and the stig tests both cars and Clarkson gets smoked both times in totally different car comparos. Might just be that inside line editors might be crappier drivers.

  • @notecages25 agreed!!!

  • its not drag race((

  • I love the porsche...but at the end of the day 99% of you are showing up at the jeep dealer because you don’t want to spend the money to buy the Cayenne. LOL

  • @DotsOnALine and 1% of me that I am now showing up at the Porsche Dealer because I want to spend the money to buy all Porsches, you bullshit!

  • @RichardJoash I have no idea what you are trying to say. lol

  • @coreyhess1 you're not crazy at all, the Jeep is clearly superior for the price. Motortrend got it to do 0-60 in 4.6, so when it comes to speed they're very close, and imo the Jeep is way more gorgeous. And like you said, the Porsche is literally close to twice as much! If SRT supercharges that thing, it will run over the Cayenne, and BMW X5M for waaaay less.

  • @mcfetty11 porsche is faster and more exspensive bc after a year its nt gonna rattle and its got a beautiful interior and the x5m is jst waaaay better so please stfu

  • @mcfetty11 i think they should that would be bad ass

  • @mcfetty11 and the Cayenne will run over everything, especially trolls!

  • that moron didnt know how to launch that awd, otherwise its about dead even

  • @edawg305 yup!!

  • Turbo... That Jeep SRT-8 is amazing... Its just a cheaply made Merc.

  • call me crazy but i rather save $50,000+ grand and get the jeep

  • You could have done a drag race BTW instead of all this science

  • i was expecting the new jeep srt8 to be crazy fast but this on is a disappointment .......

  • im sorry but this video is biased as fuck....

  • 4 me the jeep sound better

  • Ml63 king of suv's

  • fuck this test come and see all that on the rode the real world man

  • You reviewed the gr. cherokee in a own way and the 0-60 time was 4,6!!! Why is the jeep now rated as 5,1?? Help me understand that!!!!! How much payed porsche for that, that he is winning this comparison?????

  • Proof that Sir Isaac Newton was wrong

  • The jeep does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and the quarter mile in 12.7. Edmunds is always slower with there times, just look at motor trend and car and driver.

  • new srt stops awesome too bad it only traps 101. My flashed TBSS traps 103 (2wd)

  • why isn't this a compairison between the non turbo and the srt8?

  • @ShartCannon Because they are more similarly matched.................... quite obvious really.

  • @ShartCannon because this is competitor for the turbo.

  • @ShartCannon Because the non turbo is rated at only 300kw. The turbo version at 365kw and the Jeep at 350kw. Therefore the closest to power equivalent is the turbo porsche and this jeep.

  • @ShartCannon well probably because the porsche turbo and srt8 are the top of the line of each brand. However, with the price you pay...you're not getting that much betterin performance. I own a carrera and a v8 2011 jeep. I love porsche but I love jeep as well. Porsche has a premium for brand name over jeep. Jeep srt8 is a beast, not as "good" as the porsche turbo cayenne but then again...look at the price hand in hand with the stats and tell me which is better for value?

  • @ShartCannon Becuase I would gues that they are both top of the line?

  • Comment removed

  • y is the srt farting?

  • Those numbers r incorrect! The srt8 is faster to 60 y

  • 6.4 is just better than 4.8 turbo even with less hp

  • The 6.4 sounds vicious!! These stats are off. The Jeep goes 0-60 in high 4s, stops around 106 ft and grips with 0.9G on skidpad. I find that InsideLine's stats are normaly off from most other sites.

  • @Bergy427 I was thinking the same thing but it seems where Inside Line does their testing looks brutally hot. That could play into the slightly different numbers. The German competitors are awesome but the Jeep is such a good value.

  • Who is the obvious amateur driving that GC SRT8...?? Those numbers are WAY off!

  • @init2wn They're both overpriced for the performance you get? out of? them. Impressive, but not THAT impressive. Just buy a WK SRT8 and drop a brand new fully built 426 in it. You'd get out cheaper.

  • Yall need to talk...

  • Guys....... SRT softened up the Jeep. Complain to them!!!! This 2012 edition should easily do 11.8 in the qtr. and 10.5 to 100.

  • The Porsche is the only 'SUV' I would bother driving fast, mainly so people didn't see I was driving such an ugly beast...

  • Jeep is the bigger vehicle. You will inevitably have to sacrifice some performance for practicality.

  • Do we need the same thing repeated over and over. Perhaps the 6 speed can't handle the torque.

  • @ernalineqoemc they well probably put it in the 2013 model just to make mroe money lmao

  • Why oh Why Chrysler why did you not use the 6-Speed I know there is a 8-Speed on the way but to use the aging 5-Speed in the new SRT8 is just plain stupid if your minivans get a 6-Speed than why not your High Performance Line if the Jeep SRT8 had Chrysler's 6-Speed it would have walked that Porsche up in down the track.

  • I would take the Jeep over the Porsche any day. Price alone more than makes up the difference.

  • @init2wn They're both overpriced for the performance you get out of them. Impressive, but not THAT impressive. Just buy a WK SRT8 and drop a brand new fully built 426 in it. You'd get out cheaper.

  • Jeep sounds so much better! Porsche sounds gay compared to the jeep

  • jeep sounds fucking mean

  • Why is it that inside line's track test numbers always seem to be worse than what everyone else says?

  • @InsideLineVideo like everyone says, why are you getting such different number on the SRT8 than motortrend is?

  • i'm waiting to be impressed

  • forgot about the most important element in this comparison! PRICE

  • It's cool to see an SUV that can keep up with a Countach!

  • What the hell is with this video?

MT got 4.6 0-60 and 106 feet on the Jeep.

  • @Anthonyocity Motortrend tends to get a bit optimistic when testing American cars. Still at the end of the day the only choice is the SRT8. $55,000 vs $120,000+

  • @m19921992 because I believe in german quality more than american when it comes 2 cars, or anything for that mather.

  • Porsche is Porsche!

  • omg listen to the jeep take off that hoe angry!!

  • @10yearoldcarlover Easier to change tires on the Cayenne than the suspension, body and drivetrain on the SRT8. The SRT8 is a no utility SUV. Jeep engineers Had to give up all the towing and Offroad ability to make a fast SUV. Porsche engineers made it fast, handle, tow 8000 lbs and retain good Offroad abilities for a stock 4 door SUV.

  • Comment removed

  • Love all the comments about the Jeep Offroad. The SRT8 is not an Offroad capable Jeep. Jeep had to give up that ability to make it perform, and towing capacity. The Porsche can still go Offroad and tow about 8000lbs.

  • @xtremjeepn yeeaaa the porshe can go offroad with sport slick tires

  • I am glad the Porsche won, but it seems like the Jeep had a shitty driver or something might have been wrong with it.

  • That's the problem with InsideLine videos. Doesn't tell us crap. Talk to us.

  • 2 SRT's = one and 1 rims of this Porsche .. so i will go for the SRT :D

  • this video shows the best cost-efficient ratio car: jeep srt8

  • LOL!! I love how the camera man did not feel brave enough to also video tape the jeep from the front during the brake test.

  • I would buy the jeep. I would buy it one because its cheaper and I personally like the style better. Besides I could run a turbo setup or a supercharger to get the same performance and probaly still have money to buy a nice ford mustang gt:)!

  • Porsche sucks balls! Hands down the Jeep. When have you ever seen a Cayenne offrading? Pfff pleaseeeeee oh and add another 40k!!

  • Interresting... the Jeep has less grip, and yet still pulls a faster slalom?

  • I WOULD CHOOSE THE JEEP HANDS DOWN!!!

    THE JEEP EVEN LOOKS BETTER!!!

  • what a comparison!!!!!! 55k vs 110k ..... what i would do is get a jeep srt8 and a used m3......lol !

  • the srt8 in all the other reviews ive read was better than the over priced porsche

  • Porsche = awful looking!!!

  • From the sounds and looks of it, I choose the Jeep SRT8...

But I'd take the Cayenne Turbo for the numbers.

    -8RaPiD2x-

  • *rumblerumble*

  • SRT8 all day!!!
