Been listening to music of all kinds and have been in a band years ago. I'm 60 now and can reassure you that this is one of the finest players to come along in a good long damned time. I cannot tell you how happy I am to hear someone finally putting great music out again. Finally a hero to save us all from RAP! Cannot wait to see this marvelous talent in person. I'd be delighted to lose what hearing I have left if it is at that concert.

Joe B. is divinely gifted it's true. But he is what he is and where he is because he worked is ass off as a kid and he has not lost one bit of that drive or work ethic to this day. Some gifted folks are winos/crackheads under the dumpster. He works. I have spoken. (smile)

May gods love rain down over Baby Joe as he is absolutely the greatest blues player and actually greatest person in the world generally. His parents must be the most proudest parents in the world ever of all his achievements. He is my hero and I am high from listening to his singing and playing it is by far the greatest thing in the world ever and I for one am proud to be able to listen to him. Praise Moses!

@moseseseseses Wow! that's some statement to dismiss Hendrix, Page, SRV, & BB etc. While Joe is a very accomplished technician, just about everything he does is derivative of the aforementioned players. I'm sure he'd be the first to acknowledge this and would probably be embarrassed by your rather over the top assertions. What are you, 15 or something? I personally find him a bit clinical, but there are thousands who obviously disagree...

I love Joe's work, but what about the like's of larry carlton and robben ford, i'm sure joe would kill himself to play like these guys...but he has the talent, and he will climb further up the road to catch these people one day

When hearing him talk, you would never guess in the slightest way that a blues voice lives inside his soul that will grab your attention and master every element of your admiration as he screams out those bone chilling squalls of the badest blues that has ever left human lips. Folks, this boy has it going on. If you like the blues, and by the way, check out his videos, he can play any style of music. And you ought to hear him play and sing ; THE THRILL IS GONE.

The more I learn of this lad from Utica, N.Y., the more I'm awed and almost begin to hate myself for not finding out about him sooner. He was destined to be the world's greatest blues rock guitarist this generation would ever know. Divine providence ordered it every step of the way. Watch his video series with the group : Bloodline, and hear him play on stage for BB King when he was just a child. His whole history from beginning till now shows the world that this was his destiny to be.

This boy from his childhood was divinely endowed with un-natural talent that caught the attention of television newscasters after he blew the living mind of his school teacher at school after he played a hot fast lick before the class that just left everyone just about speechless, after the teacher asked if anyone knew how to play guitar. He reluctantly raised his hand, and after burning the neck up with: "TELLING THE NEWS LICKS", the only thing left was to worship the boy, or put him on tv.

WHEN YOU FIND THE BEST, YOU CAN LEAVE ALONE THE REST. I don't care to ever hear SRV, or Hendrix, or J. Page, or Gary Moore, or Albert King, or BB King, or any of yesteryears greats because I have now found the greatest blues guitarist and singer this generation will ever know, he is a living legend already, and was at age 5. Check out his video with: JANE PAULEY, and hear the first lethal lick he ever played before his classmates at school. TV cameras had to come to the school and film him.

I saw him live at the Montreal Jazz Fest in '04 I thought I was in another world! this huy is REAL!!! and has the SRV spirit plus his own magic going on...

this is REAL !!! there is really a very few with htis power and talent Buddy Guy being one of them. God Bless good blues
