  • "It is customary, I think, to have an imaginary friend during only one's childhood." better than "twelve year and four phystraits" :)

  • pedophile

  • awesome scene, so cute, I could almost ship them lol and great episode!

Sophia Myles yay.and Angel Coulby <3<3<3

  • great scene and great episode!!

  • One of my favorite scene in one of my favorite episode!

She woudl have made such a companion to him!

But, alas, it was not to be.

  • the guys like wtf!!

  • i really cant help smiling when i watch this

  • I watched this once as one of my first episodes of Doctor Who. Then I watched it again. Then I watched it again after finishing the first series with Chris Eccleston. Each time is so different. At first it's a joy to see the Doctor with Reinette. The second time around I would tear up as soon as the music box began to play or when the Doctor first meets Reinette through the fireplace. Finally it became tragic in a whole new way after I learned to love Rose.

    Absolutely fantastic. Brilliant.

  • dam beautiful women sophia myles *sigh*

  • my favorite doctor who episode. romantic and sad all at once.

  • oh my god he looks so punched on his head when she kissed lol

    u sexy manxD

  • He humps the fireplace at the exact moment he says 'snogged'.

I snorted water out my nose.

  • i'm wondering if she's one of Amy Pond's ancestors, quite the romance ain't it.

  • @doctorwhom1 maybe they both thought of him imaginary so its a possiblty

  • not to sound to criticle. but why dont u just release the parts in 10minuit intervals? its anoying clicking each part :| cuz i gota search for it...

  • LOL The New Doctors Friggidd. XD

  • Apparently the bigger a s*x pervert you are the more likely you'll win a prize! At least inside the world of science fiction writing. So that FN fool Moffatt thinks it appropiate for a "childrens show" to have the Dr fall in love with a worthless cheap french wh*re! Well, why not! That is how the demented minds of most science fiction writers work nowadays, now isn't it? I guess whatever writer gets the sickest most morally degenerate material onscreen wins! The sicker the better!

  • @sallyjosie Uhm...? o___o;

Why don't you tell us how you really feel?

  • @sallyjosie Calm down, there are more than 3,301,112,087 jealous women in the world who won't get to snog the Doctor either, and they're all pretty chill.

  • @sallyjosie Can I just say that, while I don't necessarily agree with you, that is the most eloquently written rant I've ever read. haha i particularly liked 'sickest most morally degenerate material onscreen wins' Yeah she's a bit bold, but at the end of the day she got on with DT, and I can't blame her for that.

  • @sallyjosie Doctor Who is considered a children's show? And Madame de Pompedore isn't just some prostitute they picked up somewhere, she actually was a somewhat significant figure in history. If you think this is sick and morally degenerate, I want to know what you think of shows that actually have sex all over the place and are on prime time. Oh, and this clip always makes me laugh; he always looks so pleased with himself ^^

  • @sallyjosie right.............O_o but the doctor does have history with past queens like queen victoria. just take for example when he comes to the ood mountains and he married Good Queen Bess and almost got killed by the red queen victoria (she looked like the red queen to me.) so yeah. (this is just a opinion dont agree to it that is if you want or not or just ignore it altogether)

    wow i type alot!! Fo

  • Haahaa! Funniest thing ever!

  • 1:30 to the end.

    Omg.

  • HAHA david has a good sense of twitter prizes.

  • The only way of making a man like that being stunned, speechless:

1.) Have a life full of good things, and be good at it.

    2.) Always look your best.

3.) Kiss him the way you want to be kissed - and the hhurry out of the room, keeping in mind that you'll never gonna meet again.

  • Amy and Madame de Pompedour: the girls who waited. They both met the Doctor when they were seven, and they both snogged him.

The Doctor looks so, so pleased! I love it! The scene makes me smile like an idiot. When I first saw this, I was like "whoa, wait. Back up!"

    ROTFL.

  • u can tell that he like her as soon as she walks into the room and then he gets to snog her! lolz

  • "Goodness how you've grown." In other words; "So I can tap that now?"

    Oh Ten, you manwhore. XD

  • @RoseNoir90 LOL Highlarious!

  • David Tennant sure gets to kiss alot of girls!

  • so funny that the doctor is an imaginary friend to the Madam and now to Amy pond. He is utterly fantastic to be an Imaginary friend!!!

  • Very jealous, that's all I have to say.

  • Well the actress was his real life girlfriend im pretty sure.

  • lol French ppl are so weird

  • What a kiss! That's not just an on-screen kiss, that's a full on snog, that is!

  • @FantasmaLuna He was ready to kiss her, he leaned in before she even laid a hand on him, she just looked at him. But that was his girlfriend so I doubt it took much acting. :)

  • I think it's cute that they started dating in real life after (or during) filming this episode.

  • "Who the hell are you?!?!"

"I'm the Doctor....and I just snogged Madame de Pompedour!"

LOL he sure is pleased with himself :P

  • @xBellatrixLestrangex lol rotfl

  • @xBellatrixLestrangex favorite scene! so cute!

  • I always hated the fact that he kissed Rennette back, yet couldn't tell rose he loved her!

  • @rady2278 Yeah! And this seemes to be the only girl that he kisses back - EVER!!! what's about french girls???

  • Their connection shows, Very powerful.

  • lol I can't believe that they're actually talking French... :P

  • "i'm the doctor, and i just snogged Madame de Pompadour! ha ha!"

    LOVE that line XD

  • What a snog... Very attractive... in a non-stalkerish way.

  • @silasred19 I know! In fact it's the kiss that got me into Doctor Who when seeing it on tv the first time (in Holland only a few episodes were broadcast) Love it in any way!

  • I adore how he says "GOODNESS how you've grown..." xD

  • @scissorhandslove9 its far too cute isnt it :p

  • LOL at his face after he snogged her at 1:51

  • 2:22 / 2:24 that looks wicked xD

  • are they dating in real life?

  • I believe they were married in real-life, but work pressure on both caused it to fail. (The good news is this makes her available again.)

  • They didn't get married they dated for two years though! You can have her if I can have him ;)

  • xPrincessKx - it's a deal. We just have to convince them now that this is their true destiny. :)

  • they used to

  • I love Doctor's laugh at the end

  • I love this scene. It's one of my favorite Doctor Who episodes. How can an episode be so funny & heart breaking at the same time? Steven Moffat wrote an amazing script & David Tennant delivered it flawlessly as always.

  • i agree with you completely. this is one of the finest episodes.

  • Although there are elements of the story I'm not too impressed by, and I tend to prefer the much longer, much more intellectual nature of the original series, I would nonetheless agree this is a superb New Series story. The ending is a cop-out - which I blame on the story being so short. Renette demonstrates an intellectual capacity vastly in excess of almost any other human character (including companions) and a power to rival the Timelords (as predicted in Trial of a Timelord).

  • LOVE THIS!! :D thank you so much 4 posting it xx
