For those planning to get a fitting so you can buy circle lenses to wear all the time. I seriously don't recommend it, I used circle lenses for cosplay specifically (haven't had a problem as I knew my measurements and bought from a reputable company) and have worn ordinary contact lenses for about three years now. Wearing circle lenses nearly every day is guaranteed to damage your eyes. If you want to buy circle lenses for ordinary use, wear them once in a while, not everyday...
i wore circle lenses for a year and definitely felt a worsening of my vision. i agree it practically changes the way your eyes look aesthetically but really.. is it worth losing your vision?
Another reason they are going blind is because there are a lot of knock-offs on the internet, I am American and I wear Circle Lenses. I make sure mine have a GEO or EOS seal on them though. If they're not sealed, they could be fake and sometimes damage your eyes.
I once purchased color contacts in Korea for $20 and it was painful because I was not fitted. My eyes became inflamed! I threw them away after two days and went to the doctor who said I had corneal scarring from the scraping of the lenses. I don't think y'all should be messing with ur eyes cuz u can't replace it.
i ordered some circle lenses, just to try them out and see if I like the look. next month I'll make an appointment for contacts fittings so I can buy some contacts I can wear all the time
i think my base curve is the strangest coz... every single lens i found on web has 8.6 but my base curve is 8.9.... so it's really hard to find my type... does anyone know any website in which there are different base curve? let me know... thanks
I have been wearing regular contacts for a month now, and it seems as if my eyes are always dry and my contacts get blurry. I asked my doctor about it and he recommended me rewetting drops. for me rewetting drops only help moist my eyes for 8-15 mins and it goes back to being dry again. I have to rewet my eyes with the drops many times throughout the day. it also feel as if my eyes are lacking oxygen, because when I take them off, it feels as if it could breathe again. is this normal? I'm only
PLEASE ANSWER :I've been wearing contacts for a year now and i decided to buy GEO circle lenses from YESSTYLE online with just my eye sight perscription but it didn't say anything about the measurements of your eyes, is that safe? I live in America so i can't really get prescribed circle lenes. THANKYOU AND PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER
@tifflovesfahrenheit You need to go to the eye doctor and get a prescription, fitting, and trial for soft contacts. You do not need to purchase through the eye doctor, only go through a trial to know you can wear them. Once you know the powers AND BASE CURVE, you take the prescription to the GeoMedical website and use the information on the prescription to fill out an order form for your circle lenses. It is important to know your base curve for a soft contact if you want circle lenses.
@BarbiieeHateesPiink They should be safe. Be sure to match your prescription and see if you can verify your lenses... the verification code should be on the side of the bottle under a scratch off.... once revealed, log in to the lens company website and enter the code and click 'verify.' If it matches the ones you ordered, they are legit.
@kingdompunkis1 Only if you purchase lenses that are not the correct fit for your eyes and neglect to do your homework or see your optometrist. You will need a lens prescription and guidance on how to clean, disinfect, and care for the lenses and you will need to wear your lenses only for the amount of time suggested and never longer. Lenses inhibit the flow of air over the cornea and your eyes need to breathe. Wear your lenses too long = damage and loss of eyesight.
I have a prescription and wear corrective lenses. I was looking on a site and wanted to see if it would take my real prescription because it is high and the cost of these are cheaper then 1800 contacts and cute, but it didn't let me pick my exact script....do you know of a site that will? If I can enter my EXACT prescription I would feel better about getting them....Thanks
@sarah20az As stated in the video, circle lenses have not yet been approved by the FDA. It may be illegal depending on what country you live in. Regardless, never purchase without a prescription... to do so would be asking for eye damage. To answer your question: Candy Lenses and K-circle lens.com sell prescription lenses. Sometimes you will need to inquire the seller by e-mail to be able to get a prescription (example: if you need toric lenses). Be patient, it can become a process.
