You gotta wonder if Davis and Panzer were actually Watchers in the Sanctuary... That took notes of those dreams.
Here is what I think
First film "Oh, that was really neat and enjoyable".
Second one "Okay I don't know why this stuff is even happening, but I am willing to forgive because it kinda works and is still enjoyable."
Everything else "Ohh look 'Space Balls 2' is on"
