  • thats beautiful!

  • awesome im in a storm and worried for a tornado amazing works of nature.

  • About what you said about which way the power poles would fall, that may have been true on your side of the tornado, but on the other side, where the winds were going in the opposite direction, the poles would fall into the road.

  • Great tornado footage. Kudos for remaining calm, cool, and collected while up close to a tornado. Nice to have a video without all the screaming and hollering by the chasers.

  • hey brandonlvey um at 1:41 was tht a n explosion from perhaps a car or house or somethin else?

  • that looks so fun!!!! i would love to be there where i live in melbourne au the worst we get is hail stones the size of gold balls...

  • @crisss994 gold balls?

  • @TheWaynelds i meant to say we had a storm with hail the size of golf balls.

  • @crisss994 oh, lol sorry, i didn't know what you meant

  • @TheWaynelds no worries lol now you know

  • I was in that storm! we saw the storm chasers to!

  • This happened just after my family and I got back to Colorado after visiting relatives in Nebraska.

  • Excellent Footage, cool way to spend the day with the childrens :)

  • this one of the best looking tornadoes ive seen on youtube and this is the only place i can see tornadoes beacause i live in missouri(south) and i cant travel to 1 because i cant drive :(

  • ive been a storm chaser for about 10 years guys there was no danger the closest he came to it was about 800 meters i know it looks close but its not

  • thats a kick ass vid man!

  • you guys are ridiculous. brandon is one of the best chasers around, and easily the most consistent. He was never in any danger. this tornado was barely moving, and he was BEHIND it the entire time. beats the hell out of video games.

  • Thanks for all the positive comments! My two boys had a great time and learned a lot. They are both highly interested in science and at no point were they in danger. They are ready to do it again! Just have to wait for another slow moving classic supercell!!! I just wish I had a guide when I was young. I hit the road at 16 not knowing much about what I was doing. Now that was dangerous.

  • I think that you are doing a good job keeping your kids safe while passing along the passion for storm chasing!!!!!

  • great job Brandon!!!

  • I wish my dad had taken me to do something as exciting as that when I was a kid. Exciting but not dangerous. Those children are safe (way safe) the whole time.

  • The poster of this video gave his kids real excitement that young boys enjoy and need. He never put them in danger. Anyone who thinks he is a bad father for taking his children to see a tornado obviously has no idea on how to be a real man. Grow a pair you "guys".

  • steve irwin was a professional too, didn't go so well for him.

  • Brandon is a professional and he knows how to keep himself and his family out of harms way. He is just passing his passion along to his boys. Keep up the good work!

  • This guy is a professional chaser and knows how not to put himself, much less his boys, in danger. Keep up the great work Brandon and pass the passion along to your boys!

  • I agree, taking your child into this is horrible. You never know what that storm was going to do or if another would spawn off right where you were.

  • I was watching you stream live. Great footage Brandon!

  • awesome stuff, very nice to see it come down and see that funnel. Wow at the car nearer to it (I wonder if that's one of TVNs crew)
