I remember when MGMT was a hipster thing, then all the hipsters revolted against them when they started gettig popular. Pretty lolzy. I never had any issue with them in relevence to their popularity, but acid ruined them for me. On my first acid trip i thought "MGMT should be sweet." The lyrics seemed so pessimistic in an odd way that they have not been the same for me since. On the other hand old metallica was awesome. The mind on acid is so mysterious.
