Wow, that's a while ago. G-IANG was the first Long Ranger that I ever flew. According to the date, and my Pilot's Log, I was doing the flying from the Museum of Flight that day. I think that I even remember those kids. G-IANG (named after Ian Grindlay) came from the Swedish Police, and had the wide skids fitted to allow it to land on snow without sinking in.
