Fresh instead of frozen and whats up with all that water . Turnip green gives off so much water when steamed you don't need 1/2 that amount water , 1/4 of that would be okay.
@ladyrosie1983 i went out to my garden day and picked a 5 gallon bucket full of fresh greens to cook...i took a look at your video for a new idea...i never put crushed peppers in mine before so im tryng it....i usually just sprinkle a bit of vinegar on mine when i eat them...
Ok..I hate to pick greens..I'm gonna try this..I usually use the can greens with no sodium and add all the fixins...but this way looks better..thanks!!
wow...I think that was the quickest greens video I have ever seen. The greens look so good and like you said, the slow cooker is a great option for busy moms/dads.
The last picture looks like your victim w/ that spooky soundtrack, lol. (I'm sure its tastee though)

Cool video, but this music sounds like it should be in some kind of spooky 60's halloween acid trip.

where do i get the best meat for greens?
LeeLeecious 1 year ago
Thanks for the video; but I am curious how long does it take for the greens to get tender? I've heard they need to cook at least an hour.

@centervilletn Vinegar is always great, or you can just skip the peppers, and add a lil hot sauce at the end
