I think a good point that should have been pointed out is that the XRF is non destructive. Meaning that the LBP survey can be done without taking physical samples to send to a lab. It uses x-ray flourecsence to identify possible levels of lead (through all layers of paint) on any substraight without visually damaging the material. It is also lab quality NIST tracable data...meaning the analysis is just as good as one would get from sending actual paint chips into a lab for analysis.
