My sad guess is that overclocked i3-560 would give similar results at 1/10th of price. FSX is not multi-core optimised

this looks like 45 to 50 fps to me. my future comp, intel i5 2500k oc to 3.9 ghz or 4.0 ghz. also gtx 480. and benchmarking said a really good amount of points. and on max settings. no lower then 30 fps with add ons and shit.

But when I set the Catalyst A.I. to "Advanced" I got a huge FPS boost in Flight Simulator X.

With proper coding FSX would be playable, it really is too bad that they never got a chance to make DX10 mode more than a BETA because it had potential.

Flight simulator X with addons still wins the battle against the i7 980x 6-core. Maybe in 2 or 3 years this game will be playable in max settings, with addons.
