  • why use a navigator 5.4 4v? im debateing on building a 4.6 teksid block or a 5.4 block. thanks for the info.

  • What mods did you make to the xpipe? I just finished my swap and am runnign no midpipe atm, just ford racing shorties, but since the block is wider, doesn't the midpipe have to be widened?

  • Dat bitch nasty

  • Great Job on the swap, I'm also doing the swap aswell. I know it's becoming a popular thing, but hey' it works. Again, great job.

  • i also did the 5.4 swap on my crown vic but i used the hps intake..

    what were your results?

  • hey i'm interested in doing this to my 02 gt, what numbers did you get on the dyno? also, did you just take the motor or the tranny as well?

  • rwhp & rwtq??????

  • Best Mod!

i used a 5.4 motor out of a wrecked 2001 F150 with 43k miles from a Local junk yard for $800 and used Reichard Racing adapter plates $200.

the rest of the mods i already had on the 4.6 and bolted right on the 5.4

dyno tune and was ready to hit the streets!

My Recommendation use 5.4 4v lincoln navigator motor $1200 & a Racing intake manifold $750

  • holy crap.. I have a 2001 gt and thinking about doing this. I know its a 5.4 but what type and where did you get it? Pricing on that motor? I heard a few guys on forums say its under $3,000.
