This reminds me of the cover of "One More Cup of Coffee" from the first album. I love the version from White Blood Cells. This is very raw to me.

I'm so happy to have heard this!!
I think the sweetness of the lyrics come through much more in this version because they're prominent without the distorted guitar behind it. Not to say I don't like the White Blood Cells version because I do, it's one of my very favourite songs by them, but it's wonderful to hear it the way it was originally intended :)

This was an interesting set, I used to have the whole set around somewhere, if I remember correctly they also played Screwdriver and Sugar Never Tasted So Good, among other songs.

its cool listening to how the song first sounded but i can see why they didn't include it on their debut, didn't really fit their sound at the time
