NTSC and PAL have to do with the region encoding of the game cartridge and the game console. The Americas get NTSC and Europe/Asia get PAL. You can't play an NTSC game on a PAL console, and vice versa. Find out more on Wikipedia or something.

well... collision doesnt give me speed... in fact in reduces it, speed is achieved in air but its impossible to avoid the hit to wall so all you can do is straighten up fast and avoid further wall banging

or if you mean the "railslide i use on first lap... you need engine settings at max acceleration (all the way left) and use E-grip A-boost machine for best results (Blood Hawk or Night Thunder)

Hey sorry to bother you again, im a big f-zero x fan and have recently started playing it again. I was wondering about the physics of those rail-slides. Do you steer into it and use your flaps to point your nose out, while using the bouncing momentum to keep the edge of the tail in the rail, or do you just keep steering into it to gain the speed boosts, or do you just barely touch it and remain on course? 'Cuz, mostly I just seem to lose way more power than I'd like for the speed increase.
