Man, i played this game a lot when i was a kid and never got to the end. Even after some years, with the save state feature in the emulator i never got the 1 million to open that mofo door at the end. I always though that Pugsley would open that door at the attic and i could grab enough money or i was missing too much money in the rain of dollars.

Guess what, i never knew about that hidden behind the mirror room. And you could get the money even without using water in the fireplace.

i rember this game, best game ive played on the snes, i figured out all the puzzles just got stuck on figuring out why all the dolars was floating around, you needed a million or something to unlock something close the the end or something like that. good puzzle game, riven on the pc was epic too.

@Tomytoism the locked door, opposite the kitchen door in the hall? I always assumed they ran out of memory on the cart, and just perm locked that door to deal with it.

@shotgunmario yeah that door. still finishing the game feels something is missing. like the manual says there is something interesting (or valuable) in faster's room, but there is only one cash stash. I got some crazy ideas.. like notice there is empty space where should painting hang and in the atick there are some paintings lying on the ground but behind the wall.. so maybe there is the way to take it to faster's room and then will go trough painting to locked room? xD

damn i just downloaded this and played on my android device and collected every single piece of money in the game and still missing like $5k to open the safe. i couldn't get into the hidden room though in the landing,. jumping in front of the empty painting and clicking B just doesn't do anything =/

@NeoGamemaster It is hard, you have to rapidly tap whatever button makes you paddle to even hope to avoid losing health. Gomez isn't a very good swimmer.
