So, I was reminded today that I've got this video on here, and I feel I should let others know that I'm no longer really planning to go to Syria (or Somalia). In case you guys couldn't tell, I was pretty crappy at keeping up with this. But my life has also been really all over the place. Right now I'm actually majoring Biblical and Theological Studies at a school in Chicago. Journalism (and Ball State) were not my cup o' tea. ;) Either way, I'm sure adventure is out there somewhere! :) Thanks!
Very interesting dude, i'm from syria and i apperciate your understanding.. not many people are open minded like you, anyway having a u.s passport isn't a hard thing, us syrian people are welcoming people we dont care where you're from, i'm a dual citizen.. its not like you're going to hold an american passport and walk around the streets.. but i'm sure you're going to have fun..
one more thing...u'll be shocked (in a pleasent way) to see how syrian will traet u soon they know u r american..actually i hate that about syrians ..i'll send u a link to ur inbox..u may want to read it :)
dude, its a good choice to learn arabic @ damascus university ..good luck with it...and enjoy damascus...and u dont need to read the quran to learn arabic, they way its writen is so different than modern arabic
