  • I've still got this 45 single. Love it just as much now as back in '58.

    It's a much stronger performance, to my ear, than the single for her signature tune "Fascination."

  • I love this song by Jaye. Wish you would post the English version too. She has such a wonderful voice.

  • When I was a 3 year old I learned this version and used to sing it only I thought the last line was 'serves you right' my parents were doubled up.

  • I had no idea that Jane Morgan was such an accomplished French singer. Her diction is perfect with almost no trace at all of an English accent. She is truly a remarkable woman. And she deserves credit for making it an international hit.

  • I met Miss Morgan in the summer of 1960, at Blueberry Hill in Maine. She is such a wonderful, lovely person. I love this song, both the English and French versions. Thanks SOOO much for posting this.

    I knew it was based on a french version

  • Jane is married to Movie Producer Jerry Weinbraub...a number I saw Jerry being honored at a B'na B'rith Man of The Year Award...Jane performed and was Excellent...the others who entertained were John Denver and Frank Sinatra...they weren't too bad either!
