Anyway I knew a vet who had a gay guy on his team and only one guy on the team had an issue with it. So who cares?

@JimmyFormerMarine So are u saying u would kill ur fellow soldier? wow thats messed up if true. 75% present of USA thinks DADT would be repealed, the US is the only one of two countries in Nato that does not allow soldiers to serve openly. The Pentagon study came back in support of repealing DADT and doesn't it break the Army core values if a soldier has to lie or hide part of them-self in order to serve? I have even talked to Army Captain's, Major's and Col.'s that think it should be repealed.

@JimmyFormerMarine Oh and I do know about discipline, I would not have 2 college degree's, worked 20 hours a weekend while getting those degree's, maintained good grades and was active in student organizations (including supporting local ROTC cadets). The US has kicked out hundreds of people including translators of middle easter languages and soldiers from all branches b/c they had a husband or wife, rather than having a husband or wife.

I DID wear the uniform with pride, and I was smart enough to know that I was fighting to protect ALL Americans. When you swear the oath, you don't get to pick what Americans you choose to defend.
