@AintBackYet1 There is a lot of stuff that had to come off to get this leveling kit on. 12hour job or so. Thats how long it took shop that I paid to do it on one of my previous f150s

ya my dads 99 f-150 does the same thing with the mileage it either dimes out, flashes or just goes off, but u can tap the dash n itll usually come back on lol

i was thinking about puttng a 3inch lift on my 99 f150 xlt, mines a 3 seater.

Doesnt a lift kit screw up your handling on turns? im not to sure just wondering.

@primopker1 I have had several trucks which were lifted.. they all handled fine.. a 3 inch lift isnt going to make much of a difference

@primopker1 a body lift won't mess up turing geometry but a suspension lift will sometimes make the tires go off camber and wear down funny usually more so on the inside part of the tire

@JDeereGP I have not done one myself but would say it is a good chore. I did not have this one installed but did have one done on a 97 f150 at a local shop and took them 12-13 hours of labor. You have to remove core support , cut on front frame to get bumper to come up. Cut new hole in back bumper so you can get to your spare. Make sure you get bracket to raise rear bumper , if you dont I think it looks like shit. Also the bed bolts can be a pain in the ass. Mine had to be cut out.
