Alto choosing Sheryl really shouldn't end up as that much of a surprise. They had this chemistry going and developed a relationship while Ranka kinda just... hung back being all shy and stuff.
Regardless of who I like better, Alto and Sheryl seemed like the natural conclusion since the TV series.
I never liked Ranka and was quite happy he chose Sheryl thou I didn't like events at after that.
I hope that the queen warped with Alto and he became sort of ambassador bringing protoculture to Vajura and will return to Sheryl once his job is done.
i really hate this.... i wanted him to stay with ranka she is more kawaii than sheryl... but it seems that he really stays with the false diva afterall.... well ranka is amazing she deserves better... not some guy that changes his mind every now and then depending on his mood amazing video. :(
@koizumi87 you said it, ranka probably deserves better ;) as much as i understand and share your thoughts, i felt more sympathetic towards sheryl for being alone all this time (ranka have friends) only thinking of alto in hope to meet him again someday... and when she finally meet him and he returns the feeling he's gone! eek, that's beyond my imagination... but as the ending suggest, ranka has grown into a stronger, independent lady... it's a happy ending ,me think. and who said it's over?!hehe
@zteanox I absolutely agree with you. I personally like both of them but as I watched the series and the movies I accept who Alto chose. This also means that Ranka will and has been able to mature and grow to be a wonderful woman. Personally I think that Alto always liked Sheryl without realizing who she was and Ranka more of a dear friend. But Thats just my personally opinion.
Alto goes missing, and Sheryl falls into a coma, while Ranka rises to the most popular singer in the galaxy as well the most lonely person in the Galaxy
