Sorry about the house. You might want to change the title of this video to something other than: Marysville Fire. In 2009, during the Black Saturday bushfires, the town of Marysville, Australia was completely destroyed and over 30 people died in that town alone. Youtube has grouped your video in with ones from that fire and you might annoy someone with your video's title.
well if you got a garden hose on to it the house could of been saved.....and as an NSW RFS member i would have to say DO NOT go back inside (as menchend below)
@doragzzzz You are not going to put out that fire with a garden hose. Garden hoses at best put out 4-5 gallons per minute, Fire hoses put out 80-200 GPM. BTW, it's MENTIONED.
@ffjsb MENTIONED* sorry not a great speller.....and as i said in my orignal comment thay could of held it off...youll be suprised how affective a little water is early on in a house fire/any fire...just saying
@doragzzzz Most people don't have the knowledge of fire behaviour or presence of mind to use a garden hose. If some had a little training yes, it would work in the beginning of a fire.
0:58...absolutely not... do not go back for ANYTHING. And you will not put it out with a garden hose, sorry bud. Best thing to do is get out and cal 911.
i have to ask.....why didnt the people in the street get there garden hoses and try and hold it off? it makes a huge diffrence for eg: my neighbours house was on fire a few months back and a anouther neighbour and i had hoses and damn near put it out by the time the fire fighters got there....thay said if we didnt do what we did the house would have been lost.....just saying help your fellow man
jacob (the boy in the red shirt who lives there) is a very good friend of mine. i feel bad for him and his mom. thier dogs name is lily. they r good people and i hope they will rebuild because i will miss coming over to his house

@twony75 Thank you, that's a good point! I took Marysville out of the tags, hopefully that will do the trick.

@EricJensenKOMO I also suggest changing the title, i was mislead from Black Saturday information and videos to this.

Garden hose might be best if you wanna wet the exposures of the other house, otherwise, you wont get much done.
