Too bad it interacts with shadows and not touch. Then maybe our footsteps don't cause the "water" to ripple in many spots within a 5 feet radius of where we're actually stepping. :\ But otherwise it's cool~

Yes, it's not touch, but the system doesn't interact with shadows! :-)

You can see shadows just because the roof is not very high. Effect is perfect from 4 meters high and above. In true, effects are just where people step.

The monorail stations on the strip in Vegas used to have something similar setup for ads and the like. It did the interactive water effect with fish. And there was a soccer-like game as well. They were fun, especially when drunk.

Make the floor an actual screen instead of using a projector, then have a camera up top subtract the video that's being rendered and then anything else that is in the picture, such as an arm, is then used as the input. Good idea but when I used a thing like this (played games with it) the projector & shadow were so annoying
