@ckellwood I don't know but if you are planning to buy one it won't be cheap! and jp-8 ain't cheap either you would have to be a billionaire to fly and buy it let alone maintain it!!!
@jiko12 HA HA lol now thats funny, but what this video dont show is that the doors are locked...and the fact that they do need a key to start, plus its not a car you cant just turn the key and think it will start...but still made me laugh...which was your point i am sure, so HA HA HA very funny
Guess it matters little to the victims now, bet they wished you were all wrong about what happened on the film set, and that they could be here to discuss it with you.
I thought the accepted definition of 'decapitation' is the separation of the head and body. Whether by sword, low bridge, sticking head out of train window or rotating chopper blade. The means don't matter. The result does.
The actor Vic Morrow and two children were killed while filming 'The Twilight Zone'. During the shot a rigged explosion was too close to the helicopter, sending it out of control. The helicopter crashed on the actors and clearly decapitated them, this was all filmed and you can watch it. The film was released, but John Landis had to come up with a different ending for Vic's story, since he died during filming.
Anyway, the actors were decapitated by the rotors of a helicopter. That counts.
If a persons head is removed from their body, that is decapitation. If a helicopter was the cause of this decapitation in any way, that by definition is decapitation by helicopter. It doesn't matter if they walked up or the helicopter crashed on them. I'm not sure where you found a rulebook on decapitation by helicopter and it stated that it only counted if you walked up, not if it crashes on you, but you and that book are mistaken.
Yes, the helecopter lost stability and the blades tilted - decapitating morrow - the video is online somewhere. I've seen it
I believe one of Couteau's sons was also decapitated - by a tail-rotor - but as far as people walking into the rotors of a stably grounded chopper - I do believe you are right.
The movie was not released I believe out of respect to the families of those killed , Unforunately at least one of the actors , Child or adult was decapitated, It was a long time ago, I remember seeing the video of it. Not pretty.
Also Wrong, The helicopter was flying at about 25 feet above them when a pyrotechnic explosions simulating combat conditions caused it to lose control and crash on top of them. Morrow and Le were both decapitated by the rotor blades.
the helicopter was flying low for a camera shot when it lost control and crashed onto him
when talking about decapitation, its about when you approach a parked helicopter, when everyone bows down...THATS helicopter decapitation and THAT never happened
This may seem redundant and silly, but I was a crew chief and participated in training for the firemen. Obviously, they did not see this video, because they were trying to drag me out with my "monkey" tail still attached, the pilots with their seat belts still attached, and were confused about how to open the cargo ramp and doors. Seems like a lot of info, and it is, but when you work on them every day it's no big deal, but for a fireman who has never worked on them this is very helpful.
A good number of officers are stupid as well. Even college educated ones. Just because you didn't go to college doesn't mean you are stupid. Education does not equal intelligence. Case in point? George W. Bush. College educated officer, Governor, President, and completely stupid and incompetent.
most people who have the mental integrity to finish colege and become officers tend to be much smarter than the hooahs that enlist right out of college wanting to kill something. there are some stupid officers, but not that many.
You don't need "mental integrity" to finish college as much as you need money, which the military offers. And joining the military doesn't necessarily mean you want to go kill something. You want a viable career path, or to feed your family, or many other things. Don't put yourself on a throne because you intend to be an officer. The best officers were enlisted first. Since you are not, take a dose of humility, a virtue of the knights of old, and learn from your NCO's before getting a big head.
@chestateegold honestly kiddo "mental integrity" college educated this college educated that what is your obsession with college it is not that hard, yet you post it in like three places

this is bullshit!
there has never been any record of anyone being decapitated by a helicopter ever in history
MilitantOldLady 2 years ago
Wrong. Actor Vic Morrow was decapitated by a huey while shooting a movie. The two children he carried were also killed.

got any documentation of that?

actually i checked up on that, he died in a helicopter crash, not the same
