Here we are not at war then we need not the AH-64 Apache. But of course ... the whole country needs its army. So much that we bought 60 Soviet Mi-35 helicopters. Just to inform my foreign fellows. Brazilian army fought on WWLL on Italian scenario. We had 25.000 soldiers armed with quite outdated weapons. We've captured 20.573 axis soldiers, we lost 465 soldiers. WWII had really harsh combats than nowdays. How many soldiers USA lose per year on Iraq war, with those top of the line war technology?

All due respect, your statement is not logical. Remember, average soldier in Iraq sees more combat on a daily basis than the WWII soldier. However, combat in WWII was on a different scale and tempo, with different weaponry.

WWII , which means way more corporal fights...
