  • I'm sorry but Wayne King is a very funny name.

  • King is listed as one of the composers. There are lyrics with a country 'swing version by Milton Brown and his Brownies. The lyrics told of a story of a rural kid who went to the big city to play hot sax his way. Autobiographical, as Wayne King did play sax, was from the Midwest and did play in hot bands in the '20's before putting together his own "sweet" band specializing in waltzes by the end of that decade.
