I have used the home health for a year now (bought a huge container of it) and I almost out. I was considering trying JBCO next, but..... not sure. What do you think after you tried both?
@MissFlint4U have you had great results from the home health castor oil?. in my opinion its worth a try but pay attention to the results you get while using jbco so you can decide on which one you'll stick with. also don't buy a big bottle of the jbco just get the regular 4oz for testing.
When i aply it i just dab it on my finger tips cuz this mixture of scented oils and castor oil WILL BURN THE FUCK OUT OF U if u use alot of it so just put a few dabs on ur finger tips...dont pour a bottle into ur hair it will hurt o,o. Stay away frm eyes and yeah thats what i do just abt a few drops at a time massage it into ur hair/scalp and eyebrows i wash it out with shampoo whenver i shower next day then reapply. btw i wanted to say ur very pretty kimmy but i ran out of space lol peace :)

@kimmy8188 oh no sweety the burning isn't the actual castor oil that wont burn u in another comment i think i mentioned i mix it with CHERRY ALMOND OIL.. thats what burns the essential oil is very potent so i mix it with castor oil to get a nice SCENT and it DILUTES the thickness of castor oil so it doesn't feel so pasty when it dries. What I do is before going to work ill shampoo then dab my fingers into it (im a guy short hair remember) and i rub it in well until its LIGHTLY SPREAD.

Its supposed to thciken and shine. On my eyebrows same concept (i always do this while my hair's wet or slightly wet) it stays in all night i go home sleep shampoo it out next day and my hair is thicker and shinier. My Eyebrows have always been thick i put it in cuz it makes them shinnier. kinda makes me look youngr
@kimmy8188 the burning like i said is the essential oil cherry almond tha ti buy the reason i mix it in isn't cuz of any health reason that i know of i just mix it cuz it has a really nice smell... if u smell it out the bottle its like aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaafffff strong but when mixed with castor oil (i put a whole tiny 2oz bottle in with the entire tiny castor oil from drug section). When I leave it in my hair the aroma lingers and its SOOOO relaxing. My job is stresul.. it helps me be chill@wrk.

It helps water down the castor oil a little and makes it smell nice. Like i wrote nobody even notices i have oil in hair

i do this i took the ancient egyptians idea... i buaght the regular castor oil (laxative) cuz its cheap.. i buaght cherry almond scented oil in walgreens (its the only almond oil i can find) i then mix the oils together and it waters it down giving it a nice scent i put it in my hair and leave it in when i go to work and it gives me a nice aroma therapy through out the day. Im a guy btw. i never tried jbco i duno wich is better. I have no dandruff when i use Laxative Castor Oil(on head) btw. :)
I purchased JBCO a couple of weeks ago and my head is itching like crazy. Did you experience this. The only time it slightly itched is when I applied it to my scalp on freshly washed hair. But if I go back two days from now and apply I will scratch the skin off my scalp LoL.

I have fallen in love with home health, i just bought it yesterday and i love it, i use it on damp hair (after i spritz my hair) and use less than 1 quarter teaspoon for my whole head and it leaves my scalp happy and relieves itching, in a snap, I have never tried the jamaican black castor oil, havent found it where I live here in the caribbean.
I use the homehealth, I just use it very lightly on my scalp. I use Parachute Coconut Oil as well. I love the Castor Oil, my hair is so soft and it does not shed at all. I love the stuff. Just use less. I prepoo with V05 conditioners cheap cheap but fantastic results. I still shampoo once a week with Creme of Nature Shampoo. But the Castor Oil and Parachute Coconut Oil, is awesome. My hair is growing like crazy. I am almost BSL. Thanks for sharing your video.
Is the home health cold pressed castor oil? or is it refined? I was told that it is better to get cold pressed oils from the health food stores. But I wanted to know if it is cold pressed so that I know if it is comparable to what I am using. (I only use Jojoba oil for my scalp, because it doesn't clog pores) But let me know if the castor oil is cold press.
Honestly, I am just starting my journey and there is something to be said about the "thickness" of oils on the scalp. The pores on our scalp are only so large and it may be more difficult for us to see benefit from a thicker castor oil. I think that a lot of the application may be waisted because we are not able to absorb the oil topically. What do you think?
i think you do have a point but everyone is different some people scalp do drink up castor oil my scalp being on of them. others say castor oil just sits on their scalp so it depends on the individual
Hey Kim great test. I've been using the reg castor since about Feb it works but like u said u have to dilute it. I use it with coconut, jojoba and a few drops of tea tree. I hope u like the reg.
Heating it for a few seconds in the microwave will make it less thick.

Apparently both oils thicken the hair just one is thinner and contains ashes/sulfur. I prefer the home health brand.
