  • @MicheldeNostredame12 You do know that this movie is based on a book, right?

The book received many positive feedback, and was a national best-seller.

  • His elbow is now 35 years older than the rest of his body 1:55

  • The time machine has to be the all time best movie prop ever

  • The sun looks to be a red giant at that time.

  • @pettyofficer30 It will turn like that towards the end of its life.

  • One cant simply time travel to Mordor

  • lol he would hang there for years without hands...

  • @JONIMASAKIS And during those thousands of years he never figured out a method to cut himself free from those hands partially submerged in the time shield. Quite horrible way to die, yes.

  • @Bisqwit well time is relative, For that pale guy he was living through hundreds of years stuck up there, but because his hands are in the time-field the hands themselves cannot move as its only been a few minutes in the time-field so he's literally stuck there

  • Reminds me of the Wraith in Stargate Atlantis!

  • I always cry when this movie ends...so much emotions....underrated movie.

  • i really dont understand why alexander killed him. He gave him his answer, and let him go.

  • Welcome to the year 746 million. Travel this far into the future and the planet turns into Mordor.

  • Love time travel !! ;-))))))

  • Man, I really would love to know what happened in that time he travelled to...with the Earth looking like Hell

  • Jim Morrison!!!!

  • The Moorlock culture remained that similar for well over one half billion years? Seems unrealistic. The way the alpha-moorlock decays reminds me of the "Patience" cartoon segment from Wonder Showzen. Look it up!

According to “The Life and Death Of Planet Earth” (Ward, Brownlee) all complex life will have gone extinct by then.

  • @youtubion987 But hius hands not!

  • 2:10 PUNCH!

    Fail :)

  • @camobeast100 Especially when he tried twice, kekeke >:D

  • After the final fight scene and going into the far future then coming back to 802701 wouldn't he uber-morlock be alive again??

  • @SonnyChiba57 Not really, not if he arrives just seconds after he left

  • @jbaynam Prolly...but the Uber-Morlock could also have a long life span. At the rate the machine was going thousands of years were passing before he finally disintegrated.

  • @SonnyChiba57 maybe so, but he wouldn't return... would he? Very doubtful

  • @jbaynam You might be right...that's a question I will ask M. Joseph Young. Author of a webpage I stumbled across about time travel called Temporal Anomalies in Time Travel Movies. He covers this and other movies about time travel including paradoxes, causality, infinite loops and such. Very interesting not to mention mind boggling..

  • @SonnyChiba57 well, if I send you my contact details privately, could you pass it on? I would love to speak to someone regarding this

  • @jbaynam sure. or just go to the website.

  • When he flicks out at 1:56 his elbow is sticking out...

    *Falls down looks at elbow...*

"WHY THE FUCK IS MY ELBOW SO WRINKLY!!!

  • The 1960 (whatever year) version was much closer to the book, but even that film didn't have the scene where he goes much much further into the future like he does in the book.

  • @TayoEXE yeh, i wished they showed the last sunset. that part was phenomenal

  • Today the rich old money ,new money and the bankers and corporate executives are the morlocks . They enslave and control us with little peaces of paper called money.

  • I think in the year 635,427,810 AD, the temperature on Earth would be like 360 degrees, everyone would fry for sure!

  • 3:57. LFG Hellfire Citadel. Need healers for Magtheridon.

  • Hmmm the future's bright... The future's orange.

  • "What if?..."

  • @uctis Yea what if he could change time.

  • The year is 635,427,810 AD. The earth would be uninhabitable desert at this time as the Sun's moved away from the Main Sequence and entered the sub giant phase. The Sun would be a lot hotter and brighter than it is today and earth's oceans would have long since evaporated into the atmosphere. It'll be more like Venus. Hell indeed!

  • @PortVienna80 What you describe that will happen to the sun is true, but i will not happen for around 4,5 billion years so 600000 years is a long time but not compared to the lifetime of the sun!

  • the sun is walk in the park . perhapse every upper and lower case letter has true time function (non algebryic) etheric alphabet / whilhelm rheich? er im reachin! chow

  • "Keep your arms and feet inside the vehicle at all times!"

  • @ScutigeraColeoptrata Or they will age!

  • 4:20-4:31 Tom Cruise hehe..

  • 3:42 The date he ends up at after the battle, the year shown is 635,427,810. I noticed its all 9 numbers from 0 to 8. Thought that was kind of strange.

  • The creators of this movie wanted originally the future be a Paradise looking place like Eden or whatever. But then they thought, then why let the main character go back and risk to screw up that beautifull paradise. So they make a hell in that place instead, a little better I think.

  • when that chick got taken why didn't he just hop in his time machine and go back and warn everyone?

  • @snigglesthedestroyer He couldn't do anything IMMEDIATELY after Mara was captured because he wasn't sure if he could- the reason he went that far into the future in the first place was because he couldn't seem to change the past, after all-, and then he had a clearer idea about a possible plan of 'attack' and probably thought it best to focus on that

  • @snigglesthedestroyer because it would create a temporal paradox, much like the issue with him not being able to save his fiance because he built the time machine so he could go back in time and save her life, therefore if he goes back in time and she does not die, then he would not have made the time machine to go back and save her etc. Ergo, if he warns them, then she would not have been taken so he would not go back to warn them etc. It's an issue that has been stressed in the film.

  • @snigglesthedestroyer

he couldn't because the Morlocks took it.

  • @snigglesthedestroyer actually its because his Time Machine was confiscated during the Morlock raid, this occurs offscreen - its the reason why the Uber Morlock had his machine in possession then gave it back to him.

  • Even the super murlok cannot stand the pressure of time.

  • "What if"! Like Foley effect punches nice and deep and sound effects along with a damn dramatic score by Klaus Badelt.6channel DOLBY STEREO DIGITAL is the way to listen to these films.
