For those of you who dont get this - I feel sorry for. The contrast between the beauty of the music, shear brutality of the crime and the honesty in the lyrics is brilliant. The video is intended to be disturbing & with the above combination it is an artistic masterpiece. I find the video extremely frightening and chilling and the track haunting. I believe this is very well done.

@GodnotagainOh I don't particularly need to have experienced being stabbed to disagree with the selection of Moonlight Sonata being mixed with video footage worse than something a film student would produce in their first year, and the fact that I'm a fan of the original version of Stabbed as opposed to this version, in which I gave my initial response the first time I heard said version. Just my opinion again.

i love glasvegas. love them one of the best debut albums ever. i also love spoken word pieces. when i saw the name of the song and head the first words i thought i'dl love this. but its self indulgent pretenntious crap. it doesn't even make any fucking sense. I HATE IT. hearing this song on this album is like getting half way through the nicest mean you've ever ate and finding a pube. it doesn't matter how nice the meal was, ITS RUINED.

So you're basically saying that music is connected to facts, not as an expression of certain emotions in certain circumstances?

Personally I find that war crime should not be accompanied by Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, I'd put some cold Joy Division track over it. And say to you: ffs this hasn't got anything to do with moonlight, it's cold-blooded gruesome massmurder, it's emotionless. But I would say such utter nonsense, expression and emotion is individual experience.
