I'd rather have liver. The only thing I don't like about liver is the texture. It tastes okay in Heinz 57 or Ketchup, if that helps. Liver has a similar texture to duck, and duck is okay. Something I really hate though is lobster and shrimp. Bleh, it's disgusting, I've had them before and they are just all around disgusting, the texture and the taste, yuck

Liver is better then tongue...trust me...My parents are old fashioned Chinese people so they like the weird stuff, like chicken's heart or cow's tongue....But I love sushi! My friends and I go out for it atleast once every two weeks! <3

Hey guys have to say given the choice I'd go with the liver despite not particularly liking the taste as it's actually VERY healthy and I can't stand any raw animal based foodstuffs :P - I'd recommend cut into small pieces then cooking it with plenty of flavoursome seasoning and spices!

Liver's alright, grew up with it lol. KIDNEYS on the other hand, are WAY worse! XD Im a sushi fan but i haven't worked up to the one with the big slab of fish on it yet because of the texture, but i love the taste :)

Oh and you don't cover it, just turn it once while your cooking it and depending on the thickness is how long you cook it for, 1/2 inch 8 minutes, thicker is 10 minutes and for the record cooking it like this, if you don't over cook it and eat it right away, You can't even tell it's liver. But you have to eat it right away and not let it set like you did with this one. (30 mins? no wonder it tasted bad eww.) Anyway I hope you at least try it once and let me know if it came out good for you.

1 pd Liver (beef liver is better)

3T veggie oil

1 Lg Onion chopped

1t S/P (salt and pepper for those who may not know)

1/2 C Flour

1 8oz can tomato Sauce, not paste, sauce

1/4 c water

1/2 t dried oregano

Now heat oil and saute onions until soft, not brown and remove. Mix flour, s/p and dredge liver, then brown on both sides (1 min), place onions back in pan. Cover with tomato sauce and water, sprinkle with oregano and Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes. DO NOT OVER COOK! Enjoy! It taste so good.
