I've tried to talk my wife into singing this with me as a duet. She used to sing solos in church when she was younger. Then she stopped, but then I started singing solos when I was in my '50s. I know it's a song about "friends", but certainly a husband and wife have to be "faithful friends". Maybe one of these days I will convince her. I think it would be very sweet. Maybe I'll ask her to do it as a Valentine's Day present to me.

Twila and Steven are amazing in this performance. I'm so glad it's posted. You can just see their hearts out there...servants of Jesus and passionate about doing things His way.

I'm so glad Twila is releasing a new album and I wish she was more active (I know she is raising a family which is more important). I always found her music particularly thoughtful and really helpful when I'm down, like "Warrior is a Child," "Do I Trust You," "Every Heart," and this one. She nails this performance.

I recorded those Dove awards and watched that song over and over again. Still a faithful Chapman fan years later. I believe that Twila has probably been practicing a line in this song for Stevie and his family this year: "Should it ever come your time to mourn, I will grieve with you." I love this song and better yet it was added to youtube on my birthday this year! :)
