Why don't you just buy 2 17" moniters -_- In fact, with the money you're spending on it. You can buy 4 or even 5 20" moniters.

...because you couldn't share the desktop with another person on the other side of the desk or pivot one or both panels up or down, in or out like this one. It's a flexibility thing but agreed, I prefer my 30" HP panel for a single user any day. :)
