Well the facts are that the S8 does 0-60 in 4.9 and the M3 has been known to do it in 4.6. However, the BMW would be much harder to launch due to the fact that it only has two drive wheels vs the Audis 4. Predicated upon the launch it would be a dead heat after that. Whoever launches better wins. End of story. M3 fans stop crying into your cheerios. The driver of the M3 was a bonehead. S8 fans, be careful about taunting these guys, their car is like 2 tons lighter and has almost the same power..

I own both a 2003 Audi RS6 and a 2007 S8. the RS6 is faster off the line but compair then against eachother and the V10 S8 takes over about half way down the track. I love them both and would trade either of them for a Merc or a BMW.... All 3 companies have good cars but Audi has the lead due to the cars being heavier, faster more reliable and ace it, they are better looking.

Audi's are the beginers car, they are for the people who do not want a car that is truly fast, and can truly race. Audi's are only fast because they use Forced induction. BMW's are fast cause the Motor is designed to be a racing engine with out FI! If you want to know what a true drivers car feels like, and plan on ACTUALLY using it for racing, drive a BMW, if you just want a car that can get you to the grocery store in a hurry, buy an Audi
