got my first gps but i hate typing the street. It took to long. any advice to take the hassle out? I'm thinking about using pc to write down all my favorite vis ups to my gps.
I also wonder if using voice command with the newer gps instead of typing hmm
@condorX2 This is a good point. If the touch screen is not very responsive, or if you're in a car that is bouncing around, it can be frustrating to type in your address. You can, however, return to the same address by either storing the location as a Favorite, or by using Recently Used locations (I may not have the names exactly right.) While the voice commands show promise, they can be frustrating. My Prius has TERRIBLE voice recognition; Garmin's technology is far better.
@chuckatwestmarine hey chuck i tested out all the voice and find the the female British voice to be the best. They pronounce a lot better than the default one. Give it a swirl and test out all those English voice that pronounce address and see what work for you via stimulate mode.
I was about 75% sold on buying the Garmin nuvi 265 WT before I watched your video. However, after watching your video, I've made up my mind to buy it. Thank you so much for helping me decide. - All the best.
Thank you for making a "watchable" video review of this device! I scoured a bunch of other YouTube reviews for it and all of them were barely watchable...poor sound quality, un-engaging reviewer, bad camera work...one guy just *talked* about the unit without even showing it!!! Anyway, your voice is clear, articulate and the camera work was simple. I just ordered a 265wt so I might make a video review of my own!

I cannot find the 265wt in an Amazon search. Is this the same as the Garmin nüvi 265/265T?
